Rosa brothers running Pan Ams for Puerto Rico

I believe that they are still eligible for the USA in world competition.

Puerto Rico is not an Olympic country, they are considered part of the USA.

Similar to the Commonwealth games where England, Scotland and Ireland may compete separately, but in the Olympics, they are part of Great Britain.

Wrong. We are an Olympic country. Javier Culson won bronze in London in 400m hurdles.

This has happened the other way too. We had Puerto Ricans represent the US who the have been unable to represent Puerto Rico afterwards.

We are not a country in political terms we are part of the USA but not the USA. Olympic rules are different. Think of China and Taipei.

Wait you really don't think there are redheads in Portugal and Spain? My former boss was about the whitest looking guy (reddish auburn hair) I've ever seen and he was the son of Portuguese immigrants. I had no idea until I heard him speaking with our Brazilian coworkers and was like wtf? He had a totally Hispanic-sounding (apparently Portuguese) first and last name though.

Exact. Andres Arroyo is in the Panamerican Puerto Rico team too.

I'm surprised they are running this given their history of injuries.

Stanford could have a great XC team this fall. Would be a shame for them if this leads to a setback in anyway.
