I think she'll dip under 3:50 in Beijing. My thought is that rounds and fatigue are beneficial based on ventolin believing the opposite.

Why has has no one brought this point up?
She's a 1500/5k runner. Look at the length of that race relative to the amount of miles she runs and the time probably spent training each day. 3:50 vs 3-4hrs of work. On that level and for that distance, it is more about being able to move your legs fast enough and not break down. A workout for her is more taxing than that race. It is the same with most 800/1500m runners.
Centro closed that 1500 at US champs in a stupid fast time but could still showboat over the line. Kiprop after his 3:26 continued to walk comfortably and shake hands with everyone. That length of race, on that elite of a level, isnt the same for every other 4:30 runner in this thread.
WR only if Jennifer Simpson would pace her for 1200 meters.

Simpson couldn't run 3:49 pace for 1200.
When Alan Webb broke the AR in the mile, he looked rather energetic post race. Yep. it had to drugs. He was doped to the gills too. LOL
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
