Makhloufi has face like rat
this is like Christmas in July.
I'm done with my work, I've done my run for the day, I'm going to get a burrito and watch the meet.
Does not get much better.
Go Jenny.
Stop Centro.
Men's 1500m will likely be a bust. Kiprop isn't in shape to run away with it. Mak and Mo won't want to lead.
Having said that, the #1 way Mo could get some street cred back is if he just leads this race when the pacers drop and gives it his all. He should secretly have Monaco pay him a bonus with this plan in mind. It's not his distance; does it really matter that he wins the event? We all just want a fast time to come out of it for somebody.
I'll go on record right now as saying my favorite runner in the men's 1500 is going to be the guy that leads the race after the pacers drop.
Women's side has Dibaba, who will end up being the pacer. it's like watching another woman try to pace oldschool Paula Radcliffe in a marathon world record attempt.
David Storl goes home devastated. Can't beat Joe Kovacs in the SP so he doesn't even try.

Kovacs - now Nr. 8 on the all-time performer list.

remember that dibaba is only 24 and has zero outdoor medals - she has indoor golds yes. I'm just saying that she hasn't proved herself against a tough field. She has run very fast. It will be fascinating to see how she runs in a stacked race.
on the mens side...I dunno. crapshoot. run that race 10 times and you get 3 or 4 different winners.

Let's get real here. About 2 people in Europe care about distance events. As far as what people are going to want to watch:
Womens 200 - 17-year-old Kaylin Whitney against all of the top people save Felix. Whitney already has the Junior WR and the 4 fastest timees ever run, and she probably gets another one.
Prandini, the American national champion, is not in the women's 200. She handily dusted Whitney in the US 200 championships. Prandini is going to run the 200 at Worlds this year. Whitney is not. For Whitney, this glorified all comers meet may be a big deal and hopefully a payday. But it is missing the reigning American champion.
Section 1 Finals Wind: 0.4
1 Jenna Prandini Oregon 22.20
2 Candyce McGrone NIKE 22.38
3 Jeneba Tarmoh NIKE 22.44
4 Kaylin Whitney NIKE 22.47
5 Dezerea Bryant Kentucky 22.48
6 Kyra Jefferson Florida 22.56
7 Muna Lee Unattached 22.60
8 Charonda Williams adidas 22.74
One of the highlights of the whole year! I expect an interesting battle in the men's 800m, I would like to see Amos go from the front one time.
All the other distances have also amazing prospects, of course!
USA A Women's 4X100 (Gardner, Felix, Prandini, Kaylin Whitney) takes out winning time by Jamaica in World Relays.

Oh, I definitely agree with you here. I said in another thread that if she's not careful she'll just implode and watch some like Hassan or Jenny pass her at the end. If they all go too hard then even somebody like Rowbury could nip them. If she felt comfortable last race, then I think she's a fool if she tries to go hard for it in the first lap. She really needs to work those middle laps with good pacing or the wheels are going to come off at the end.
I'm also curious about Chanelle Price in this. I feel like she should be doing 400m instead of 1500m right now. Maybe there's still time left to do 400m, but I don't like going overdistance leading up to a major race.
Off we go.
Price isn't a pacer, is she?
28 degrees is warm. That's 82.4 F.
66% humidity as well.
Not ideal for long distance races.
Given the humitidy they are saying it's the equivalent of 89.6 F or 32 Celsius.
Here we go...
Nice win by 'Batman, he's really back this year.
chanelle price is the rabbit in the 1500m

How did you know that? BeinSports must be showing this thign taped for some reason. It's 2:10 pm and the gun just went off for the 400h on American TV.
Schedule says 2:05 for 400H

We'll be posting live updates off the BeInSports coverage for everyone watching in the US. Might be a few minute delay on the coverage for everyone watching in the US on TV or the Sling App.
I can predict the future...
...by watching a British Eurosport stream ;-)
best 1500m ever coming up now°!
