Riders will accumulate a lot of fatigue going into the Alpe d'Huez stage. So yes, this is it.
The Giro has tried a steep climbing finale a couple of times and it never quite works out to be very dramatic. You get the GC reshuffled further down. But, top-3 is set and they pretty much ride in together.
Cycling is a joke. Sky is the modern version of Armstrong's USPS and the organizer and the cycling federation know it. Froome and some of his teammates are hitting the dope as hard as Riis, Armstrong or Rasmussen ever did.
