We've been through this enough already. The altitude means nothing to most of those who have grown up at altitude. Geoffrey Kipsang/Kamworor being one of them.
One to watch might be Ali Kaya of Kenya/Turkey, he ran 13 flat in Rome and today ran sub 13.20 completely on his own, winning the European U23's by 300 meters.
He was even waving to the stands every time he came down the home straight for the last six laps. Might be an outsider for a medal, he's just as good as the Kenyans over 5000. Handling Mo, Kejelcha, Gebrhiwet and Iguider might be just about too much at once for him but I am looking for a top 5 spot for him if he could just take off from the start like he does whenever he's clearly the best runner in the field.
He won the 10 000 on Thursday by over a minute, running 27.53. 100 % solo. Great runner, beautiful form, I get a tear in my eye watching his stride
