I think this is probably the correct order. De Grasse is on fire this year.
Correct me if I am wrong, but hasn't Gatlin served suspensions due to using banned substances?
/thread
No respect for drug cheats
Bromell is not going to win a medal. His peak form was for NCAA's. Last year he didn't even win the World Junior Champs.
De Grasse is crazy. He's going to run the 100 and the 4x100 in the Pan American Games, in his home soil. After that efforts (including rounds), his body could be in serious problem by mid August.
he has. But so has Powell and Gay.

Yes, Bolt may have doped, but the US men's 100 team is 3/4 KNOWN dopers. There is no doubt in anyone but a crack head's mind that they are still doping. Fair's fair - let Bolt catch up.
What's the advantage to having been caught doping but still needing to pass tests over secretly doping?
How would letting someone openly dope be fair over others that have to curtail their doping to pass tests?
If China doesn't allow Gatlin into the country then their global reputation will vastly improve. They would need to release a statement properly worded to justify their actions in other to avoid minor backlash by potential ignorant Americans. If ESPN gives China good coverage for the action this will help and show youth that drugs are bad for the body. They did this once already and should take it a step further this time. If Gatlin wears Nike while getting deported then Nike would actually get more media time from this then if he races. I lobby that China to end the disrespect and exploitation of the sport by Gatlin. This is wishful thinking ..

Because we've watched him race on different occasions this season and his training since his last race (which was no where near Gatlin's form) has been sub par per his coach due to his hip impediment.
So put two and two together - he's not in great shape right now.

I hope you don't really believe that this is something that could or would ever happen. Besides, the most credible speculation about Gatlin getting "kicked out" of the Beijing invite was that it was a fee dispute after he demanded more money because he had just run 9.74.

Maybe I wasn't too serious about the let-Bolt-dope part... an attempt to highlight the better alternative, the one never taken, i.e. ban-the-dopers.
I wish it weren't too late for USATF to kick them off the team. Not too long ago, it would have been pretty scandalous to send that many dopers. In the 80's they had to cover up American positives entirely. Now it's just like, you doped, ok whatever, time served, go win a medal. Pretty damn silly next to all the attention the NOP gets for just maybe doping.
I wonder what would happen if a bunch of people protested to them.

NO ONE can stop gatlin now
Not even USADA
You people are ridiculous. Gatlin is horrible for the sport and fooling all of you who root for him. Im sorry but track & field being a joke is as much on the stupid people who defend the blatant cheating, lying, and fraud going on with guys like Gatlin. Root for the real champions. Gatlin will be caught again and end up in jail.
What's a joke is not so much Gatlin, but the whole distance side. You have 30 Kenyan marathoners testing positive in the last two years, 99% of Russians, Turks, the corrupt Nike/Salazar operation....and you are talking about a couple of sprinters? In the 5000 in Lausanne, was ANYBODY clean? My impression is that distance running and the rest of endurance sports is about as clean as TDF.
The South Africans might also have a big meet.

Why exactly would Bolt show up when he is injured 6 weeks out? If he shows up and wins that would be quite crazy. It would seem quite suspicious that he recovered from his injuries and came back into shape in that time period.
Here we go. Drugs conspiracy already in play? Bolt will show and he will win both sprints plus the 4x100m relay and I believe he's clean. He broke Powell's record for the fastest Anchor in history back in early May at the World relays. So he was in good shape prior to his injury. And his injury is not major, just a few sessions with a Chiropractor is enough to straighten him out. But hey, haters gonna hate. smh.

Don't know if the Jamaicans could live with Gatlin blowing up Powell, Blake not being close to his former self, and Bolt not being able to close on a college sophomore.
LOL at T&FN picking Jamaica as gold in the 4X100. Can the Canadians or the Japanese get #2?
There is nothing wrong with Bolt. He's faking his injury. All this will come out in a couple of years when the "Road to Rio" BBC documentary he's shooting right now airs. Bolt know there's a lot of people who want him to lose & he also knows Gatlin loves to talk. he'll crush everyone in Beijing. His doctor did him a solid and lied to the public about his injury. You don't go from running the fastest anchor in HISTORY (previously held by Powell) in EARLY May to being a bum. Bolt will dominate... AGAIN!!!

Because not too long ago, about a month actually, he ran a 20.3...would that have even made D1 Nationals?
yes he showed up and spanked the cheating wanker twice
I like it that this thread is near the top again.
