On the men's side I say they go 1,2,3 at Nationals with Colorado first Oregon 2nd and Stanford 3rd. Thoughts? Thanks

If Oregon could not crack the top 4 after 1-2 this past season I bet they are not on the podium again this year

Agreed on this. Also they lose Jenkins and their other amazing 3k/5k transfers.
They'll have some good runners still but I don't even see them finishing top 5.
Colorado will win barring illness.
Stanford will probably get 2nd again.
Syracuse is young and will probably move up.
Portland is always a factor.
Wisco will have an extra year of development on a young talented team, could finish top 5.
Cal will have a young, talented team and not come close to making nationals for years to come.
Colorado wins, and you are wrong about the top 3.
Colorado wins barring disaster.
After that, the race is pretty open but I think that with Justyn Knight and Martin Hehir as two of the best low sticks in the race and a strong pack, Syracuse will be second. Stanford certainly has the potential to be right up there but I think Syracuse is a better bet based on performances this past year. I see no reason to think Oregon will finish higher this year than they did last year
Oregon looks solid, but not a title contender. Colorado is the clear favorite, but not invincible. Stanford looks like their main challenger, especially if they can get both Rosa twins running well at the same time.
I'd pick Colorado as best amongst the 3 you mentioned, but I genuinely think Syracuse will win it overall. I'm not just rooting for my school, either.
One things for sure, Syracuse will produce another outstanding class of Letsrun trolls.
Are we forgetting about Dave Smith and the Cowboys? 3 of the last 6 championships have been taken by them. They'll be on the podium.
Last time it was in Louisville they won.
Who is a possible top 5 for Oregon?
Oregon is counting all its national titles and distance running dominance from NCAA's... juss sayin

In track.....yes. 6th in XC last year. And they lose Jenkins Geoghan and Gregorek so....
Ok State has a possible savage team with a coach who knows how to get it done.
Nowak- 16th last year.
Clarkson- 7:50 indoors and 50th last year.
Noelle- NCAA 1500 champ and FootLocker Regional champ in HS.
Oelstad- 3:58 miler. Runner up at Division 2 XC nats.
Cerake G.- 10k Jr Champ and 5k runner up. Talented.
Gohlke- ~75th last year. Consistent.
Fayers- 3:59 miler. Talented.
They'll bring home some hardware.

If both Rosas are healthy, Stanford will be very close w/ Colorado
Jim Rosa
Joe Rosa
Sean McGorty
Sam Wharton
Jack Keelan
Then recruits Grant Fisher and Ostberg

I doubt they'll have Noelle peaking in November if they want him to do well in track again.
Also sub 4 doesn't always translate into good performances on grass 10ks
Oklahoma State reminds me of the San Antonio Spurs of this season for some reason. I have a hunch that Smith's winning teams are usually built around a lynchpin Kenyan like Erassa, Kipchirchir, or Mecheso and the other foreign guys are consistent 40-70 placers. Also Noelle isn't much of an XC guy and Geberkidane hasn't made as big of a jump as I expected. Sure he's doing well on the junior level but he hasn't done much for OSU.
This is probably going to be Colorado's best team yet.
Moussa, Saarel, Pearson, Murphy, Winter, Peterman, Perrin have all been on at least one of their last 2 title teams and the first 5 have been All Americans. Add in the freshman Dressel and Klecker who may suplant Peterman and Perrin and it's pretty much in the bag. 2016 is when they may lose their grip on the title, but their starters will be Saarel, Peterman, Perrin, Dressel and Klecker which will be mighty fine by then.
Stanford should be good for second again with:
Rosa, Rosa, McGorty, Wharton, Sweatt, Fisher and Ostberg. But the Rosa's are injured all the time and they probably won't have a Korolev type free agent to bail them out this year.
I'm not completely sold on Justyn Knight as a cross country type, but Syracuse has enough returning talent to get top 3 barring another surprise drop from Knight. Hehir looks good for a top 15 finish.
Portland looks pretty depleted this season from losing Fauble, Kincaid, Perry, Buchanan and Goehler but hey, it's Portland.
Oregon looks like they'll be starting
Cheserek, Leingang, Elkaim, Anderson, Maton, Neuman and Melancon
Which isn't very promising. Maybe top 4 if the freshman adjust well, but their best bet is for 2016 when Stanford and CU are a little weaker.
My bet for a sleeper riser team this year is UCLA. I know I know, "injuries, not clutch" yadda yadda yadda. But they nearly beat NAU at the UW invite last year while beating Stanford (partial), UW, Virginia, Oklahoma, Villanova (partial). They are returning essentially their top 10 guys and should have an All American in Werley if he's healthy. Sushchikh could move into the top 40 as well. This all is presuming they can stay healthy and run to their potential.

Who????? You're an idiot and your spelling is atrocious. GEOGHEGAN and Gregorek didn't run XC last year, so they don't lose them. Don't be such an obnoxious poster, citing a bunch of BS that is irrelevant as though it is fact.
Also read a book and learn to spell. Moreover, who gives a shiit about cross country.

Get off the boards, Will.
Erassa is American. He has run USA's multiple years. Racist idiot. Mecheso is Ethiopian. Ignorant idiot.
