"Kara Goucher never said she wasn't ever on Cytomel or a patient of Dr. Brown. She simply said that Alberto told her to take Cytomel early in 2011 when didn't have a prescription for it and that allegation stands."
Then at best Kara was trying to mislead everyone.
To say "well, I was on Cytomel and my Dr prescribed it, but on one particular day my prescription hadn't been renewed and AS told me to borrow Galen's". Is a much different story than "AS asked me to take some of Galen's prescription meds."
"Herriman" is either inattentive to detail or intentionally misleading people himself.
Kara said she was offered Cytomel by Salazar while training for the 2011 Boston Marathon. At the time, she was on Levoxyl, a different thyroid med. She says in the BBC video that she did not have a prescription for Cytomel at the time.
By the time the WCs in Daegu rolled around about five months later, Dr, Brown had written her a script for Cytomel. I don't know if this is the first time she was ever put on it, or how she wound up on it, but Levoxyl, not Cytomel, has long been the medication of choice for Hashimoto's.
So in summary, the person Herriman quoted was absolutely correct, Herriman either screwed the pooch with his "analysis" or lied on purpose, and BOOM HEADSHOT! is propagating Herriman's error/lie.\
It lo longer surprises me that so many people think Kara is full of shit. By all appearances about 2/3 of the people who post here are incapable of keeping track of the most mundane details and putting them in chronological order.
