that was weird , she went head first into a billboard.

She is not in the same class. It shows time and time.
I would say that "not in the same class" is a little extreme, as their results are usually within a second or two. Especially in the past 12 months, they have had some good close battles.
However, as a HUGE Rowbury fan, I completely agree with you. If you can beat her, just do it and stop saying you're ready to do it.
Wow what a crazy women's 1500. Everyone in the field was there with 100 to go except for Grunewald who fell (everyone who calls her a dirty runner just needs to realize she's obviously runs non economically and thus naturally makes contact).
Will Alberto get Johnson DQd. That is the question I have here.
The battle for the final spot was very tight.
Moser was in front but then Johnson lunged and seem to lunge towards the inside , going down at the line.
Protest?

No Morgan Uceny really drops that chance
Saw this post before the race and thought "well, there's always Grunewald". Does she have a coordination problem?
Good for JS. That was a pretty lame race. Cain should never have been in the final, and Alexa would have made the team. Grumble.
All of that Salazar "speed work" has made Cain slower than she was in middle school. When the pace picked up the pack went past her like she was standing still.
That was made a lot funnier because she fell right behind a scoreboard so she just disappeared from sight
Why? Just to be an arsehole.? Neither of them would go to China. Think he learned from last time.
was a foul called at the track?
Protest wouldn't exactly be shocking

Cain ran sub-4:16 in middle school??

Somehow when I saw someone catapulted of the track I knew it would be Gabe. Where was Hasay to enjoy the moment?
How long before she tries to protest her way onto the team?

Very unlikely AE would have made the team - she had issues running a 62 last 400 in the heats what makes you think she could have run a low 59 in traffic in a slightly faster race? Cain ran about the same she did in the heats - same last split for a 3 sec faster race.
Sub 60 for the first 5 or 6 even for a slow race that's some good kicking.
Cain taking control of the race from the beginning was a smart race plan. She has not proven that she can go sub 4:10 now so she needed a slow race and hope that she could outkick people. Didn't happen but I am surprised nobody else tried to push the pace.

You are being a little unkind to Simpson. She has 2 WC 1500m medals and was the DL #1 last year. She has run sub 4 multiple times with a PR nearly 2 seconds (huge in the 1500M) over Rowbury's ONE sub 4. But most importantly she knows how to race.
(not to mention she was a world-class steepler before switching)
I wasn't talking just time.
Moser actually finished 6th, so NOP would have had to get 2 people DQed. No protest was filed.
Watching the women's 800 frame by frame it looked like Ludlow turned her ankle and stumbled, she stepped on Wilson's shoe (which flew off a stride or two later). As Ludlow stumbled it looked like Vessey shortened her stride and threw her hands up to keep from running into Ludlow and went down.
It's a shame because Vessey looked like she was ready to unleash that kick she had 3-4 years ago.
He's not at Symmonds level, but Sowinski sure is consistent when it's time to make a team.
Anyone else notice that Loxsom and Andrews both got World Jr medals at the same time (800), and now, years later, finally make a Senior team at the same time (800,1500)?

Well said; I concede. I'm putting my impartial panties on and hoping Jenny stays dominant and healthy through WC because she is going to be difficult to beat. Maybe if I am really lucky we can have two American medals in the W1500 this year!
Not that I dislike Rowbury and certain hope she medals.
Beside Rowbury has a WC medal herself. :)
