on everyone's parade, and this probably won't be taken well on this board, but perhaps the young lady is ready to (and should?) call it a year. Yeah, yeah, I know that's heresy these days, especially on these boards. But consider the following:
1) She just finished 10th grade. She has two more years of high school before she gets to the real big time. Assuming of course she doesn't make the same stupid mistake a few others have.
2) She has been training and racing at a very high level since last fall. How about a little time to physically recover and mentally recharge? Not to mention just be a normal teenager for the summer, so she's ready and hungry again when she begins the second half of her high school career, let alone what comes after that.
3) She obviously has an incredible amount of talent and long term potential. Maybe one of the best ever. How short sighted would it be to risk burn out and/or injury at this point in her career?
Just a few things to consider before we all start taking bets on what her year and winning time will be (or should be) in the OG or WC.
