I hear Tim Hutchings on the webcast. That God, but does that mean he's not on tv coverage this weekend? I like a solid webcast with real commentary.

No webcast during the TV coverage...Hutch will be on TV.

I saw there is a webcast during tv window of field events but it won't be Tim. Maybe that means Tim will be doing tv. Coverage right now is pretty solid. Impressed.

Except he is able to say things besides "Historic Hayward Field." He actually knows something about running. Also, I haven't heard him explain what a mile is vs. a 1600.
Hutchings is probably the best commentator for track there is besides Steve Cram.
too bad he doesn't know many of the lower A tier athletes...constantly referred to Joe Stilin as Merber throughout the 1500. Also claimed to be pulling for Blankenship in the second heat when he was in the third.
Classic call in the women's 10k , lap 24 on Huddle's breakaway, " Huddle is popping off the track". Great running in 90 degree weather.

Such as "three one hundredths of a second."
Should be able to identify correctly, but it is hard to do when the runners are quicly crossing the finish line. Miss ID'ed Hannah Green in the 800m prelim, but quickly gave a correction when the results came up. Maybe should have known her as she was 3rd in the NCAA Meet and was wearing A VATech singlet.
I think the announcers pretty clearly stated they had old heat sheets at the start of the 1500s. They realized quite early that Blankenship wasn't in the heat he was originally posted in.
Is there anyplace to see video of the women's 10K?

Heats were redrawn and NBC announcers did not get the update. Another failure on the USATF for not keeping the public informed or the folks tasked with the job of talking to the public.
From the top of the stadium he's looking for uniforms for his call.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
