NOP fansboys are the equivalent of Lance fanboys. No one with a brain, of any IQ level, will consider the NOP fanboys to NOT be guilty of extreme hero-worship.

I give you typical brojo fanboy exhibit number 1. Queue up the banjo theme music from Deliverance. May God save us all.
I agree with this. Take the clock down. I'm truly saying that to help Letsrun. This is just showing how unfair you guys are.
For your own sake, take it down.
I agree with the OP. This is sounding more like a hatchet job. Why didn't Gatlin and Gay, two known drug cheats receive the same level of scrutiny? I am just as interested as the next guy to hear the truth, but come on man, give Salazar some time to present his side of the story.
I say this as someone who believes 100% that the NOP has been doping...
It would be absurd for Salazar to comment. He is getting his athletes ready for the National Championships. He has not obligation to respond to or put energy into former employees or over-the-hill runners who are now making accusations but quite possibly participated along the way.
I say this not to defend Salazar or NOP... Take the clock down and put up a countdown clock to the start of the National Championships.
This story will be there either way. Focus on the Sport.

The animosity goes back a long way between the Brojo's and Al/NOP/Nike, refer to the 'Daily Mail reporter confronts AlSal at his Portland home' thread.
Now the gloves are off and it ain't Marquess of Queensberry rules .

Nice swipe at the Gouchers and Fleshman. Why, I almost didn't even notice whom you were talking about!
The problem with what you are saying here is that it's complete bullshit. Salazar can't be expected to comment in the period lasting from June 3 or this month until June 28, when the USA Nationals end. But then he can stay just as silent afterward because he'll be working on getting people ready for the World Champs themselves. And it won't end.
Do you see coaches in other sports who are embroiled in controversy being let off the hook by fans because they're busy trying to get their teams to the playoffs or the Super Bowl? My ass. That's lame.
I agree that it is TYPICAL of someone known to be as scummy as Al Sal to keep quiet. But I don't agree that he gets a pass on the basis of supposedly being too focused or too busy. You mess around with people's lives and blood over a period of years (and act like a demented bully in public along the way), and eventually, when it's your turn to face the music, you don't get the control the timing.

So?, and anyone intelligent will know not to consider them real journalists because they know they're not, just as the Brojo's are intelligent enough not to claim they're real journalists, you on the other hand...

Umm..... thank you for confirming brojos not real journalists for any news organization that happens upon this thread. May God save us all.

You can tell that neutral observers are starting to support Alberto on here. LRCers are smarter than the BroJos give them credit for, apparently - they can sense the witch hunt and respect what Alberto and Nike have done for the sport.
We know what Nike did for Jeff Drenth.
Base on that counter it's been more than 2 weeks.

Why is anyone who doesn't immediately call for the hanging of Alberto called an NOP fanboy? Why can't we just simply be a balanced moderate on the issue?
Besides, the opposite side (you) is just as full of fanboy-ism. Fanboys of NOP revel in NOP's awesomeness. You are revelling in NOP's demise. You are a fanboy to shaming and failure.
I don't give him a pass. It's just what makes the most strategic sense for him and his current athletes. If you read closely, you would understand that I wasn't making a swipe at anyone.

Well the actual report came out 3 weeks ago. Salazar was informed in great detail about the report in early May - 7 weeks ago.
So he's had more than a 'few weeks'.

That's OK, but I didn't think I'd have to because any halfwit with even a modicum of intelligence would know they're not real journalists, but that's OK, now it's been confirmed for you, so we're happy, you're happy, and we won't need God's help. Amen.
Great post.
I don't know how Salazar can possibly prove that his accusers made 'knowingly false statements about him.' I think that's why it's taking so long.
Let's recap what they've said.
1) Magness said he came across a NIke lab report indicating Rupp was on 'testosterone medication' in HS and provided a picture. Salazar has already admitted the picture is legit and thus can't prove this false.
2) Kara Goucher says Salazar told her to take prescription pills she didn't have a prescription for and provided the pill with what she says is his handwriting. It's a dangerous accusation to claims this is false as I assume his DNA would be on the bottle.
3) John Stiner says he found androgel in the NOP camp. Allan Kupczak has said as much. And Malmo says that Stiner admitted to him their was androgel in camp.
4) Lauren Fleshman says Alberto encouraged her to take asthma medication in a way the doctor didn't.
I think it's impossible to prove 1-2-3 are 'knowingly false'. Those were the
accusations out there when Alberto said he would show they were 'knowingly making false statements.'
I think that's it's taken so long as it's basically impossible to prove those were 'knowingly false statements.'
If I was Alberto, I'd just a) be quiet or b) not apologize. Say Hell Yeah I push the gray line as far as possible. I have repeatedly asked WADA for clarification. So if I'm guilty, then it's sort of like an accountant pushing it too far and being ripped by the IRS.
I think he realliy stepped in it when he said he'd issue a rebuttal showing they were lying as it's just not logically possible that 1-2-3 were lying.

You keep mixing up the facts rojo. It was Salazar who admitted to me (Aug 2013) that there was Androgel in the 2008 Park City training camp and that it was his. This confirmed what Stiner had told to me four years earlier.

Two unrelated issues here.
I agree that its unwarranted to reflexively label critics of the allegations "fanboys." in many cases, these people simply aren't very perceptive, or are being intellectually dishonest.
When you talk of being a "balanced moderate" on the issue, however, you're inherently stipulating that there are two valid sides to the story. This is true only in the sense that AS is either a ludicrously corrupt cheater or merely a cheater who has more than earned serious sanctions. Pretending there's a plozzabul scenario in which AS is cleared of wrongdoing smacks of the evolution deniers who run around yelling, "Teach the controversy!" in an effort to shoehorn biblical creationism into public-school biology classes.

Salazar can't say much now, for every time he opens his mouth, he gets punched.hard by a who's who of T and F. Sal, I'm afraid he is toast. Which is to say, he'll probably be president of USTAF later this year. keeping High-Tower in some useless backup "function, of course... .
