Any guesses or inside-info as to which of the Nike training groups Eric Jenkins will choose? Perhaps he will stay with Coach Powell?

My prediction is that he will continue his professional career in the state of Oregon.
Hopefully he goes with NOP. No sarcasm. He deserves to be with a dedicated group who understands running and has common sense, unlike several of the people who have spoken up against NOP demonstrating severe lack of intelligence in their responses.
That's what has disappointed me the most with all this. i thought runners on average were supposed to be smart.

Agreed. They collectively passed over 500 drug tests. The nearly 2 dozen people making allegations are jealous and have an axe to grind.
What are the NOP athletes doing? They busting their ass 6 hours a day. That's what.
A bit selfish but I hope he stays in Eugene, works under Powell, and trains with Cheserek.

No, they are just lacking in brain processing power. Goucher disappointed me the most with her comment about him being tired, taking some down time and then running well. Pretty common in running, shower a massive lack of understanding of how running works. I thought she was the full package. That just showed she knew less than a HS runner.
And his chart? Obviously he didn't list illegal drugs to go in his chart. That's a simple logic 101 and you have to be either vindictive as you say, or lacking processing power.

Agreed!
The other dozen or two people's claims are BS as well. Shipping drugs through the mail - BS. Dispensing prescription drugs - BS.
It is all slanderous BS. Salazar's evidence will prove all of these allegations are wrong.

No I believe there is truth to some of what has been said. Did he break govt rules? Probably. Did he break wada rules? Probably not. And don't pretend like the other "dozen or two" have actually provided anything suggesting he broke the rules.

I disagree. I don't believe there is ANY truth to what is being said. I believe Alberto Salazar is an honest man and a fair man.
He won't go to NOP, because they don't want anyone who just sits around and waits for the kick.

All of their runners sit and kick...
i am actually pulling for Rowland on this one. He is a smart, consistent coach. With symmonds and mead and blankenship the last few years running 1:42, 13:02, 3:34 under him - he has the credentials. That group is strong right now.
I would be dissappinted with NOP or the Schumacher groups. Though it wouldn't happen, i think a great other option would be with NJ/NY with Frank Gagliano. Gags is a legend and has nike legacy and Donn Cabral who is with Nike is there. Cabral would be a good guy to do all thelong tempo's and 20 milers with, and then he would have kyle merber/mike rutt/ford palmer type guys to hit the track with.

Good grief, really?

Yup. And you regularly criticized them for it.
But what you hate even more that sitting and kicking is someone getting busted for drugs / someone being exposed to very likely be involved with drugs. It instantly makes you like them for some bizarre reason. Hence all your recent posts of support for the NOP.
Of course, I'm not surprised you somehow don't remember this.

A male world class runner who is doing 100 mpw is not running more than 10 hours/week. Add 30 minutes of stretching every day. Strength training 2-3 hours/week. Physiotherapy 1-2 hours/week. This does not add upp to 6 hours/day.

It is the drug ingestion and testing to ensure they won't pop hot that puts them over that 6 hr per day mark. One thing microdosing takes is time.

You are missing the parody. I believe it was Nike who had an Armstrong ad where Lance voices over a bunch of fast cuts "I'm on my bike 6 hours a day. What are you on?" I vaguely recall Lance also used that line in a press conference where a reporter, later banned from press events, asked him about his doping.
I may have mixed events up, but the bottom line is it was just one of countless lies about his athletic performances. The Al Sal faithful still believe the liar.
