Centro won a bronze medal at world's in 2011 while being coached by Andy Powell. There is no reason to suspect he is doping. His progression is normal (4th, then 2nd) and he hasn't run any monster pb's like some of his training partners have.
Of all the NOP members, I am most sure of Centro being clean. Rowbury and Levins as well. So I guess I am only suspicious of Mo and Rupp.

Is Vitamin C a thing for runners? Molly Huddle recently tweeted about taking EmergenC.
Vitamin C helps your body adsorb more iron. Also it is a powerful antioxidant, but I don't that helps you run any faster.

Which, btw, the article does not claim he never drank. It says he doesn't drink. It also says he used to stay up until all hours of the night like a 20 year old frat boy.
I am not claiming he has never had a drink-as far as I can tell no one is claiming that, but you seeing him hiding a beer in that picture is silly IMO.

Do you really want to start playing with tenses? When did the "I only take vitamin C and Iron" statement come out? That may be all he takes now, but what did he take before the allegations came out?

Matt Centrowitz will be the first one in the NOP to be busted on Doping
What will happen is Nike, USATF and Salazar will conspire to make it appear that Salazar and Rupp to be running a clean Nike Oregon Project. Because all the controversy is centred around Rupp and the conspiracy is building up on them, They will do whatever they can to protect their golden boy. However, either they start to get a bit lazy with their other athletes and/or WADA starts to put pressure on some of the other athletes suspecting a program is being run. Centrowitz will become the first victim in this because he is one of their better athletes but is not their golden boy. They will neglect his masking agents a little bit and WADA's pressure will catch up.
After pressure dies down on Salazar and Rupp, Centro will test positive on his A+B samples, re-igniting the doping controversy. The investigators will dig deeper the moment he gets busted.
Rupp is uber-loyal to Salazar. He will not deviate one molecule from any prescription improvements Salazar has him do. On the other Farah and Centro are the "a-little-more-won't-hurt" types. I originally thought Rupp and Farah were the only top-dogs of Salazar's. But, Centro, based on his comments and recent bogus explanation, is another top-dog of Salazar's.
Centro is the son of Salazar's old friend Centro, and so hardly likely to be thrown under the bus. Rupp is the golden boy, as all the athletes have said, and Salazar is a father figure to him, but Sal is like a godfather or caretaker to Centro out of his friendship to Centro, Sr. That is my reading. Centro obviously has been at approximately the same level since his first world medal, though he is somewhat improved this year, so not at all like Rupp, who may have been on testosterone even in high school but never had a kick or anything approaching 3:50 speed, until way along in the process.
