The more I think of it, the more I wonder why this is coming so early. To me, this should have come out the week before the US trials.

Of course, these guys know what they are doing.
Step 1: ok, this is not good, but let's come out with a blanked statement for all. Mo goes back to the US to investigate. Everybody who joined after 2006, just say that you weren't there. It's not good, but this news will fizzle out. Anyway, there is very little there that was not commonly known for the past 10 years.
Step 2: ok, this is really not good. This is new stuff. But the news is coming out of a trash newspaper. Let's attack the source. In addition, there is no physical evidence. So it's he said vs she said. Lastly, he really didn't know what was in the vile. We can come up with something that needs refrigeration surely... Anyway, at this point Mo, you are not implicated. Let's watch out however. This is now a 2008 event. So it's more recent. But it's ok, it's still far enough.
...
They are planning a crescendo. I was expecting them to drag this out to the Olympics. They still can. I am sure. But news is coming out very fast. Maybe the BBC is losing control of the story, which may be why it's coming out too fast.
