Where's your data on this? I've always heard that altitude won't affect you as long as you are running downhill. Only on flats and uphill.
He ran a 1:15. WHY DOES ANY OF THIS MATTER? There is no altitude conversion + elevation drop conversion that makes this time relevant or worthy of discussion.
Ryan Hall went and participated in a local half. Good for him. I'm glad he's giving back to the community. I highly doubt he received a huge appearance fee.
However, that aside, THIS COURSE IS FAST! It drops like 700' over the course of 9 miles or so. Any one here claiming that its slow because its at altitude is CLEARLY from utah and is trying to defend there PRs set on some course with a huge elevation drop.
