It's a shame Oregon doesn't have 9 lanes as they had to break the tie for the final spot to the final. And tet this - it came down to .001 and the tie was broken between two teammates from UT Arlington.
Imagine running 10.09 and not making the final.
Clayton Vaughn ended up getting in by .001 over his teammate Quentin Butler despite having an extra .5 in wind. OF course, at their conference meet Vaughn dominated - running 9.93 and winning by .30 so maybe it was the 'just' outcome. Conference results here:
