Thanks for the play by plays
O'Conner wants to win this thing wire to wire, pushed courtney a little not letting her take the lead even with the wind, two laps to go and its a five person race.
7:06 - maybe 7:05 high wit 2 laps to go. So they could break 9:30.
Cool; that must be exciting to see.
Courtney from UMKC and Leah shoulder to should dropped Rachael Johnson and NDSU girl, Quigley and O'Conner dropeed courtney 8:19 with a lap to go
This is an absolute battle lead shifting between the two, quigley leading into the water jump, droped O'Conner who faded to 3rd in the last 70. Quigley wins in 9:29
Ferichs with a good comeback 9:31 for 2nd O'Conner 9:33 for 3rd, great race.
Wow, awesome. Thanks for the updates.
With 200 to go I thought O'Connor was cooked, and as soon as they went over the water barrier I knew she was cooked. Heck of a run from Quigley, despite the loss I believe that's still a PR from O'Connor, I think her previous best was 9:36
Larry mentioned Leah fell in the stands yesterday and was actually looked at by team doctors. Does anyone have more on that? She looked unfazed for 2850 meters, but as soon as Quigley moved off that last water jump Leah had nothing left.
Looked like the landing out of the waterpit hurt her, maybe landed weirdly and felt pain on whatever she hurt in the stands, I still don't know if she would beat Quigley she had a great finish.
Seeing the 1500m is now under protest. Any idea why?
One of the Mississippi state girls fell very early, got knocked down really hard, most likely that

Quigley moves from #4 all time inthe steeple to #3 all time. She's also the third collegian to break 8:30. She looked totally spent at the end. I was wondering if she was slowing up to enjoy it but on the replay it looked like she was so tired she coudln't even enjoy it.
1. Jenny Simpson, Colorado 9:25.54 (2009)
2. Emma Coburn, Colorado 9:28.26 (2013)
3. Colleen Quigley, FSU 9:29.32 (2015)

Jenkins was happy because it was a real race between them at the end and no deals, but 18 pts from the two of them and Geoghegan just back in 4th with a solid kick. Nice job from Kemoy Campbell, coming off injury.
Boy, you people for some reason can't just come out admit that Ches>Jenkins... XC, 10K, 5K...end of story! Winning, wins!
Not sure how you got that from what the person you were responding to wrote.
It was a fact that they agreed to come in together in the 10k. Instead of doing that, Ches sprinted by Jenkins right as they were coming up on lapped runners, making it hard for Jenkins to respond.
They both went for it in the 5k and even though he finished 2nd, Jenkins wasn't upset because he knew they were actually going for it, whereas in the 10k, Ches pulled a fast one.
Not sure what there was to protest or what the coach was expecting to gain. That's why I was curious.
Prandini at the line for the 100 very exciting
According to Larry Rawson, there are "a lot of Olympic events going on in Europe and the United States", which makes Jenna Prandini's #7 time in the world more impressive.
I understand what he's trying to say, but holy crap.
Prandini jogs 30 meters and sprints 70.
It honestly didn't look like she was WAY out at the start (not good either) but over the first 30-50 meters of actual running, she was left behind, and then just came on and passed everyone!
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
