There's nothing for Wejo/Rojo to apologize for.
There's nothing for Wejo/Rojo to apologize for.
Do you think the advance notice was why they sent Mary Cain home or why she got out of dodge?

If you spend any time on this site, you know what the owners think and how they react to news. You may prefer the approach Goe, Coe and Burfoot are taking but the brojos are reacting to this story the way I expect them to react. I would give it a rest on that front.
I want to hear more, especially on the testosterone. But investigative reporting usually starts more reports that fill out the picture. Sometimes those reports blow up a bigger issue, other times the initial allegations start to look smaller. We shall see.
Burfoot's story was a joke. Someone on another thread said it very well. You don't have to condemn the person, but the actions should be condemned.

Sounds to me like Salazar is preparing to conduct a press conference or write an article. If he offers logical explanations, Wejo, I will hold you to your word that you would apologize.
Except that is not what Wejo said on the other thread, at all, as well he shouldn't.
Brojos have not acted inappropriately at all. I'm sure they'll post Sal's side of the story once available.

Why would Wejo apologize? If the accusations prove to be unfounded it would be Magness that would have to apologize, as well as the Gouchers.
Of course, there is photo evidence that Rupp was juiced so I don't know how much further you can take this.
Photo evidence. That's even more than they had on Lance.
It's over, pal. Face it. The next step will be Nike releasing Salazar or making him take a "sabbatical" for nervous exhaustion.
Forgive my ignorance. Do you or anyone else have a link to a story about this photo evidence? I had not read this.
You can read video evidence. The BBC showed the evidence.
Don't tell me, haters got it wrong.
Maybe a lie detector test is in order.
It's all a big misunderstanding. Good thing USATF is an independent organization that is incorruptible.

Photo evidence - the one line that listed testosterone ? Well the chart may turn out to be real but Salazar's explanation may also be real.
lance - tested positive, I believe in 1999 or 2001 TDF, and argued to get it overturned which did happen
This isn't even that close to USPS and lance (where the whole team doped and the efforts of the team members contributed to lance's results in victories that is). But just as the term nazi gets bandied about against some objectionable behavior in a knee jerk and hyperbolic way, seems to me the same thing is happening here.

So Mary Cain?

One lie detector test was done today.
Mike Rossi cheating is more important than NoP doping

I do know that the BBC contacted Alberto in advance of that story and gave him I think a couple of weeks notice to respond.
And yet we're expected to believe that Mo Farah was caught unawares by the BBC broadcast last weekm and knew nothing of the doping allegations beforehand? That Salazar opted to let Farah be blindsided, possibly putting him in a position to say or do damaging things?
why do you think he was blind sided?
If I knew of the report before it came out I'd assume Farah did as well.
And the report came out early last week and Farah didn't speak to the media until Saturday. So how did he say damaging things? He had more than a few days to think about what he'd say.

This propublica piece is the #1 thing you should read:
https://www.propublica.org/article/former-team-members-accuse-coach-alberto-salazar-of-breaking-drug-rulesThe evidence is not proof of anything. There is a lab report saying Galen Rupp was on "testosterone" in high school but Alberto Salazar's explanation is that is an error and Galen was only on Testoboost (a legal product).
The article also says another unidentified athlete was told by the Nike lab to take testosterone and when he asked if he would test positive the lab head said, no that's what Alberto does.
Biggest smoking gun is Alberto confirms the story of having Androgel in the massage room.
some responses from athletes also could be suspicious. the rest is grey area
Question since I don't care enough to start at thread: Imagine you are in a position like Magness, Ritz, or someone else suspicious of a program. Would anyone consider pretending to ask for PEDs to see if Alberto brings them?
All I know is Phil Knight is a good friend of Salazar and Rupp and that Knight has a net worth of 22.4 Billion dollars and if it goes to court, Knight will spend every penny defending them with the greatest team of lawyers ever and expert witnesses, 22.4 Billion will buy a great defense.
This article claims Mo lied or at least mislead the public in his interview yesterday. Hope this makes the front page. I believe it is big news catching them in such a lie given the allegations.
On a side note, Seb Coe's response is really disappointing. But that's what I would expect from an athlete who mislead the public his entire career with this 'I only run 20 miles a week' bs. He and his lying dad are largely responsible for ruining a generation of runners. How about BBC reports on all their lies? See Coe's defense of Mo and Salazar make me think he doped to his outstanding career.
Something a little bit odd here. Relates to what Steve Cram and Paula R were saying on the BBC during coverage of the Diamond League from Birmingham (the one that Farah was too emotionally disturbed to run at despite some fans having paid £50 for a ticket largely to get a good seat where they would be close to Farah!)
Salazar is supposed to have kept careful records of all his athlete's training from the beginning of their relationship with him. Releasing these records will, apparently, establish his innocence. Think about this; how can the release of documents (possibly carefully edited and sifted) by Salazar, documents that were compiled by Salazar in the first place possibly establish anything about Salazar and his possible doping of athletes? UK Athletics and/or Farah asking questions of Salazar is equally pointless; they should be asking questions of those who have spoken out openly or gone to USADA with their concerns.
If Salazar is guilty he is hardly likely to admit this to anyone who isn't already in the know either publically or even in a private conversation.
As for NOP being a completely open organisation that lots of athletes and coaches have visited; yes, no doubt. but IF there are illegal practices going on they are hardly likely to be caried out in public, in the full glare of publicity. so it is perfectly possible for Cram and others to have visited NOP and seen nothing - this proves nothing!
