1) I don't want to bring it up every time. I don't feel he has every fully answered the question. Usually he tries to change the subject or move onto something else. People on here pointed out it looked like he wanted to answer the question at World Relays, so to bring some closure to this issue I decided to ask him again in a more personal setting. I was hoping to talk to him 1 on 1 but with the French guy asking the drug question it was a perfect intro.
The drug questions are back into the main picture because of Gay returning and Dennis Mitchell still coaching team USA.
Gatlin didn't want to answer the question, but the best thing in the personal setting is I don't have to accept his non answer.
History shows that most people busted for drugs say they didn't do it and most of the public believes them to be not telling the truth. Gatlin is free to compete but I don't think a lot of people will have sympathy for him until he fesses up.
2) Gatlin still has never fessed up. He refers to it as his 'incident'. He has not accepted responsibility so many people won't forgive him.
Actually asking the NOP athletes about injections would be a good thing to do.
