except when it comes to farah
Of course Farah comes up. It's weird how NOP is always the group that gets called out for doping, when every other runner who does well is just as likely to be doping. Look at the guy who won the 5000 last night. 17 years old and won against all of those olympians? Oh that guy definitely hasn't been juicing one bit. C'mon now, I hate doping and the NOP is not always top on my list, but let's not be intellectually fooling ourselves that the Africans don't do it too. Kenny B can't be that much better than anyone else who ever lived (except Geb) without a little something extra ASSUMING most others are doing it.
I agree! Seriously back off Gatlin. Yes he probably doped (knowingly)...but we all deserve 2nd chances. If he's clean this time around it's a great story, if he doped again he'll go down as one of the most hated, untrusted athletes in our sport. And he'll have to live with that!

Just not true. It matters very much how drugs behave in other mammals. Do you think the FDA would approve any clinical trials of a new drug without prior animal studies? Hint: the answer is no. You and Gatlin don't have a good grasp of how medical research is done, which is OK. It's not your job. But why argue so forcefully about something you don't understand?
No, what I said is exactly true.
You are an idiot for assuming it's not my job (it is). I have a perfectly good grasp on how medical research is done.
The reality here is that you don't have a grasp on reading comprehension. You tell me I'm wrong, then provide a correction which was the same thing that I said, which is the same thing that Gatlin is saying, which is NOT the same thing as the poster you are defending is saying.
Learn to read.
Get over it Wejo. It's ancient history. He served his time. It is what it is. Everyone deserves a second chance.
You came across like a ass.
Good on Wejo for making Gatlin uncomfortable. It sounded like wejo wasn't ready to head that route, but the euro reporter sparked the conversation. I like journalism like that. I could give a $h1t if gatlin thinks its an honor to run at Pre. So does every athlete, blah blah blah.
Once caught, banned for life. If you can't trust the people that work for you (a masseuse) to do their homework, better hire someone else. Your performance is your job.

He would have to get caught first and if he did I,m sure he would live with himself
2nd chances are for people doing time in prison which is where he should have been for fraud.
Anyone who thinks you can run faster clean than doped when past your peak is an idiot

This is an idiotic statement. How are you supposed to know they haven't "done their homework" before they don't do it?

Off course it's tested in humans, after it's tested in animals first, but there's no reason to not believe it wouldn't hold true in humans too. Again, what I was referring to was the dosage is dependent on the weight and how the species metabolizes it, so it would be adjusted appropriately to a human, not that the effect would be any different.
I hope he drops a 9.6 today just to shit on you jogger haters.
Props to the Brojos - I am all in favor of doper shaming . Endless. Over and over. Make the next guy see what happens when you lose your honor. (Not being sarcastic)
You have no idea what an athlete's peak is, Mr. UK.
Well done, wejo.
Judging from Gatlin's fanboi(s)' reactions in this thread, the question was right to the point.

Better hire some people you trust to begin with and make sure they have skin in the game with you.

Gatlin is my new (only) favorite sprinter. I love how he expresses himself.
And good for him exposing the drug promoter.
+1
Dude, the sports governing body has declared that drug bans last X,Y, and Z in duration. If the athlete serves his time, then he can come back.
Nobody wants dopers in our sport, period. But to constantly tear down a man who served his punishment is degrading. If the governing body institutes lifetime bans for positive tests, then ok fair enough, the jig is up. Until they do that though, you are just going to have to live with the fact that athletes can and will come back after serving a suspension.
You don't have to root for them or even like them. But your opinion on this much likes Wejos doesn't matter one bit because you are hateful about it and saying things out of spite.
Maybe you and Wejo can take a class in how not to be terrible human beings.
WeJo also questioned Galen Rupp last night. Why didn't WeJo ask about Galen's 27 TUEs and why so many top runners are using thyroid medication? It was also a golden opportunity to ask Galen about L-Carnitine and whether Galen has ever injected L-Carnitine.
Answer that, WeJo fanbois.

Questioning Gatlin's story dies not make Wejo a terrible human being.
Continuing to deny that you knowingly took drugs however, and that someone sabotaged you, is quite questionable.
It is entirely possible Gatlin was in fact sabotage, but more likely the massage therapist simply made a mistake. Massage therapists are not doctors.
Your statement implies you know for a fact that Gatlin is lying. Sorry pal, you have no way of knowing what actually happened. You look very foolish making statements to the effect you do know what happened.

And even more likely than that, Gatlin doped, like every other sprinter faster than 9.84, except Bolt (except he dopes too).

Not it doesn't.
So prejudiced!! wrote:

Sure I do.
Either the masseur made him test positive or he knowingly took drugs.
I know which one of these is more likely the case.

No I don't.
