You know, posting the same crap over and over makes you look like an ignorant child.
Meanwhile King James is shooting 40% and losing the series.

- LeBron's performance this series makes Jordan's look like a role-player.
- What stands out is how James’s play to this point TOWERS over the league’s historical giants.
- But in a series where his team is short-handed, he is playing exactly the way he should be—and, so far, done more than anyone in the modern history of the Finals.

Lebron is shooting 40% in this, his FINEST hour.
Jordan shot 41% in his WORST finals series ever.
Anyway, thanks for the laughs.
Are you even watching the Finals? Doubtful, or else you wouldn't have made the point above.
LeBron is a one man army. Get it? He's scored or assisted in 109 of his teams 163 points. Every time LeBron sits, the team immediately struggles. He's carrying this team. Let me put it for you even more clearly. LeBron has to shoot that much to pick up where his teammates are lacking. He doesn't have 2 hall of famers & one of the best coaches ever on his side. Again, he is a one man army & has to take a lot of shots, which is why the % isn't as high as previous years. Warriors can simply focus in on him & him alone, therefore, James is forced to take difficult shots. Or, he can pass & watch his team throw up airballs. Take your pick.

LeBron is losing the series? Unbelievable. What more do you want from him?
I heard on the radio today that for the Cavs to win, LeBron would have to score 50 each game & have a triple double. That's impossible to do every finals game, especially with the support he has. Again, what more do you want him to do? I mean, it's getting ridiculous with people's expectations of 1 player. Win or lose, he's already shown that he should get the Finals MVP award. I've never seen 1 player carry a team like this in the finals.

Alan....if that's your REAL name....I realized basketball may not be your thing but dude....please.
Jordan made Pippen, not the other way around. Lebron needs to learn you make other players greater by doing more than giving them assists. Rodman was an offensive liability by the time he got to the Bulls. The Bulls had rotating heads at center. As good as they were they still had issues.
If MJ needed to score 50 in order to win he would have.
Lebron is a stats monster right now. You can't do everything by yourself. They might go 7 but won't win the series. He's a great player but couldn't win it all without going to Miami. He will never win a championship in Cleveland.
Alan
Watching it all right. Lebron is playing well. And doing what he can to help his team. Not knocking him.
But folks going on about how great his scoring is when he is shooting 40% don't have a clue. It just means he is shooting a ton. Maybe that is what Cleveland needs given their other options. But that still doesn't make 40 points a night impressive when it is coming on 40% shooting.
Have you even been watching the series? For the most part the Warriors are playing him with one defender. You can complain all you want about the other Cavs but it doesn't change the fact that Lebron is shooting 40% against single coverage.
Again, I'm not knocking Lebron or the series he is having. But, while he is doing well, he is not playing so incredible as people want to pretend.

You're clueless about both comments.
I don't know whether LeBron is or isn't as good or better than Jordan as they play different games but the defensive mechanism which kicks in from the Jordan fans is pretty funny.
If Jordan were out there with this crew they wouldn't be doing any better.

This ^ is probably true.

On a side note - what the Warriors should have been doing all along is to pressure James full court. Make him work to get the ball even after a Warriors score. Make him work to bring the ball up court.
James is exhausted in every game by the 4th quarter. Make him work that much harder and he will run out of gas by mid-3rd quarter. If the Warriors had been doing this all series the Cavs would have at most 1 win, maybe zero.
After 5 games
Composite point differential: quarters 1 - 3 Cavs up 6
Composite point differential: quarter 4 + OT Warriors up 43!
Dang, I would have made a great NBA coach!
Can you be considered the best of all time with a losing record in the finals? He had a hand picked team in Miami and didn't get the 5, 6, 7 championships he made everyone thought he was going to get.

1) Yes, you can
2) Ending up with a finals record of 4 - 5 is WAY better than having a finals record of 4 - 0. If that isn't obvious to you then you need to think through things a bit more clearly.
3) Nobody can make you think anything. So please don't say something so ridiculous again.
4) I'm not saying he is the GOAT. When folks look back 20 years from now they will probably rank him behind Wilt, Russell and Jordan and perhaps alongside Bird, Jabbar, Magic, Robertson, Baylor.

It's true Pippen was key to the Bulls winning records and Playoff success, just like Wade and Bosh were key to Lebron's rings. Basketball is still a team sport and no singular talent is ever going to carry a crappy team to the promise land, although James came close. But Cleveland wouldn't be in the playoffs without the regular season contributions of Love and Irving.
So this idea of defining the best player to ever play the game by carrying the load of a crappy team to the playoffs is flawed. History clearly shows, as indicated by this posters comment, you need at least two blue chippers to carry a crappy team to the playoffs. Two three peats and never losing a championship trumps all. Ahhhhh......to be like Mike..........:)
6-0...which would have been 8-0 had MJ not played baseball is better than 4-5. Lebron had Wade and Bosh, who are better than Pippen/Rodman offensively, yet didn't string together 4, 5, 6, 7...
If Lebron can win multiple champs with Cleveland then maybe he can elevate above MJ.
Alan
I am routing for Lebron and he is more or less a one man army, but he just needs to get to the rim more and finish better. Someone that is considered the best in the game has got to finish better. He missed way too many close shots once he decided to drive.
He is athletic, but not silky smooth when it comes to shooting and dribbling. Curry and MJ have more of that smoothness that puts my mind at ease when the game is on the line.
where do those of you who are not "fans" of Lebron rank Wilt? He didn't win much either

But we aren't comparing anything like a 4-5 vs. a 4-0. We are comparing two players who had the SAME number of NBA Finals, one went 6-0 in series winning 24 of the 35 games, and the other 2-4 in series winning (so far) 13 of the 32 games.
Player 2 has LOST more games in fewer chances, and in the process has WON fewer titles in the same number of chances. Jordan never lost a series in the NBA FInals going 6-0, while James has won only twice in six tries.

I answered it correctly. I am sorry if that is too complex for you.

My response was directed at your point #2 (which is why I cut off the #3 and #4 points you made). Jordan is 6-0 and LeBron is 2-4. That's a whole lot different than comparing 4-0 vs. 4-5 (where the latter got to the Finals more often, but won the same amount).
I thought I made that pretty clear in my post (by repeating the numbers you used and only addressing that specific topic). I hope that is clear enough for you now.
Welp... Anyone care to come on here and make more excuses for the king? Happy to revive this thread again next year. Hopefully by then Lebron has a more complete game and can get his team to win by:
1. Understanding his role better
2. Sharing the ball and creating opportunities for others when he's not hot and when his % is low
3. Motivating his team mates to step up instead of b****ing constantly after calls
4. Hitting winners when it most counts. We know he can score but when his team is down the guy's game just falls apart
I'd argue moving to Miami was his biggest mistake, many would agree. He sold his souls for a couple of rings but could have really developed in Cleveland as a leader and they could have figured out how to build a winning team for the long haul. But don't worry, Lebron isn't too upset about losing. After all he'll be a billionaire when it's all said and done, but GOAT... At this rate I highly doubt it. Make no mistake, Jordan is the GOAT right now, and James will have to at least match his number of rings to be better. suckers continue being suckers... Hope you spent $200 on a LJ Miami jersey. Bulls 23 is untouchable
