That's not too shabby.
I'd still put Duane "bang bang" Sarumon, Casimir Robin of Loxsom, and Tyler "Spooky" Mulder ahead of him for the U.S. team.
What has mulder done recently?
My bet is cas, sowinski, and solomon
Marvin Bracy's first sub-10?
You guys keep sleeping on Elijah Greer
Bracy 9.95 .08 pr I believe. Rodgers 2nd
sowinski will be top 3 at USAs with cas and duane. those guys are way ahead of the rest right now
Reasoning behind your answer or just like nicknames?

Post of the week 😂
And by "Shanghai", you mean "Beijing"?
My first reaction was "wait, Shanghai diamond league was 4 days ago, why are we just hearing about this now?" Of course, I should've gone with the obvious option, LRC's typically poor attention to detail.
Andrews could and should run the 800 at USA's. He has no chance at the 15 after multiple rounds.
It is amazing how when China has an event they think they can win, they are very selective who the invite.
First, what places Mulder in the conversation for a spot based on his performances this year? Second, I think if anything Brandon Johnson should be considered in the mix for a spot on the team more so than anybody else in the 800m field aside from Duane Solomon. I say this because this season in his only real competitive 800 this season at World Relays he beat Erik Sowinski, he tied with Sowinski at World Relays as having the fastest 800 split of anyone at 1:44.75 and aside from Solomon he's the only guy who's run sub 1:44. I think he has more upside in hopes of making the team than anyone who isn't Solomon because he's just overall better than the other competitors. He finishes much stronger than Loxsom and debatably has just as much raw speed, if not more than him. As for anyone else that I haven't discussed in this response that will likely make the 800 finals, the fact that I haven't mentioned them either means that I don't think they've proven consistency enough at a level worthy of making the World's team to warrant a segment of discussion or they've never proven an international worthy skillset. I say that if anything the team going this year will be Solomon, Johnson and either Andrews if he decides to do the 800 or Sowinski if Andrews does the 1500.
re: "Bracy broke 10.00 for 1st time"
Wow, I am surprised by that considering the big competitions he has been in. The problem with athletes like Bracy and unfortunately Bromel as well is that when you get high level training starting at a young age, it limits your upside.
andrews will run the 1500, he's already stated that, so that's why he's not in this discussion.
people forget about Brandon johnson because he was hurt or whatever last year and didn't run well. he definitely seems fit this year, although i wouldn't place his IAAF world relay leg above anyone elses based on the split alone. relays aren't that simple, there was strategy involved. also, his 1:46 at mt sac means little, that's a pretty early-season race.
i really hope BJ can get back to 1:44.0 or faster shape this year, and sowinski too. personally i don't think loxsom has the legs for a 1:44.0 yet that he'll need for top 3 at USAs. however, he's got the guts to follow solomon or anyone else to the lead, and it's now saved his ass twice (he avoided the fall at USAs last summer, and again this year)
My mistake on the Andrews thing then. Last I had heard he said he was leaving it as a surprise or something along those lines. And as for Loxsom I think you're right about him not having the legs necessary and that's really as far as it goes for him being involved in the conversation. He should probably work with a Johnny Gray type of group so he can be as strong as Solomon while still maintain his natural speed advantage rather than being a shadow at his heels for the first 600 meters. That or he needs to start leaving his comfort zone more so in training to target his weaker endurance.
Great points.
Greer is going to break the AR this year or next year. Due for a big drop.
