How did Jesus not win?
I mean, the guy could fly. His 5k is in vertical feet
Did I misread this or was Bo Jackson not included?
Also, the fact that any white athletes are on here is laughable.
Jack Lalanne
He was fitter at 96 than 96% of that list were on their fittest day
Where did they rank fitness guru Richard Simmons?
Ok, ok. Rich Froning has big muscles and can probably do 1000 push-ups on cue, but you can't expect me to believe that someone who can't break 21:00 in a 5k is fit.
There's got to be a trade off to being called the fittest in the world and slogging your way to an 8:30 mile isn't part of that trade off.

33. Bo Jackson
Before a hip injury ended his football career and nearly derailed his baseball career, Jackson was the biggest two-sport star America had seen since Jim Thorpe. After passing up an offer to play for the New York Yankees right out of high school, Jackson attended Auburn University on a football scholarship. In 1985, he won the Heisman Trophy as the nation’s best college football player and hit .401 with 17 home runs for the baseball team.
During his career, Jackson rarely lifted weights, instead focusing on a regimen of calisthenics and water aerobics.
Remember ABC Superstars? A lot of the champions were white guys. Just sayin'. They were obviously fit and athletic.

I'm guessing nobody saw #25....?
Apparently, being paralyzed and unable to move below your neck is no big deal. Dude is 25th fittest human being in history

Greg Lemond is the Frank Shorter of cycling. Always complaining that others robbed him of titles he could have won but not that innocent himself.
Lance is that you?
I thought you'd moved onto Ironman?

Lot of celebrity crap on that list. There is also no mention of performance enhancing drugs as the key driver for many of these people.
Fittest guy who should be in top 5, if not #1, who would crush the Crossfit boy in everything is ex-Seal Jeffrey Goggins.

I think you mean "Dave Goggins."

I don't think any of them work. Functional strength is never considered. Take Alex Lowe, considered the best all around mountaineer/alpiner/rock climber in American history. He would to hundreds of dips, pushups, and chin ups a day, even at elevations that boggle the mind. Alex Honnold, a modern climber is the same. Rock climbers have some of the most fittest muscular strength and endurance in the world. Herschel Walker was a beast as well, doing thousands of pushups, sit ups, and squat thrusts a week. Bruce Lee was a freak of nature for his size. The things he could do. Sheesh.

He ran 18:xx in the CrossFit Games a few years back if I'm not mistaken.

Um, no.
Here's a video of the 2013 crossfit games and, even for the 2.1 miles, no one is running anything close to an 18:xx 5k.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ur7QGmZ6KYEven on here it shows his 5k is 20:00 (which is even way faster than I'd expect):
http://www.roguefitness.com/athletes/rich-froningEven his 400 is only a 65!? Really!? Fittest guy on the planet can't break 60 in a 400!?
Is there video of it? Is it on a track? For me to believe that a 5' 9" 200 lb. guy ran a 18:xx 5k, I need to see a video and it has to be on a track or something other than crossfit games certified.
Do I believe that someone that big can run it? Sure - but I need to see it. Until then, he's just some guy that can do a lot of push-ups.

CrossFit Games is all about competing. You run as fast as you have to - not faster. Froning conserved some energy in the 2013 games during the run.
I was talking about earlier Games, must have been 2011 or 2012 ... I'll look it up and post later but have to leave now for a tinder coffee date.

If he had to jog in order to "conserve energy" for later phases, that shows you how UNFIT he is. Is there any world class triathlete who leisurely swims or bikes in order to conserve energy for the run?
Eaton is a guy that can run 2:32 in the 1000m, 45.6 in the 400m, 10.2 in the 100m, pole vaults over 17 feet, shot puts over 50, and jumps over 27 and is not the fittest man of all time AND Lance Armstrong is in front of him.
Look up Simon Ata (aka Simonster)
Bruce Lee
Decathletes
This list is seriously F'd.

Agreed - Eaton should be at or very near the top of the list. The guy has run 48.7 in the 400 hurdles! and a 4:14 1500.
