Hand-slapping: how LRC biatches argue off topic

New visitors to this site may be wondering what language it's written in. Well, it's an approximation of English - a variant spoken by young males residing in their parents' basement. Herewith, I start my translation guide for newbies:
English Letsrun
in the opinion of the brojos / it's official
little-known running coach / coaching guru JK
(not sure how to write paragraphs) / quick take
8/10 would laugh again
"Crankin' the diesel" = "Takin' care of business"
"Drop the hammer" = "Time to git'er done"
There have been 5 or 6 posts on this thread which have made it worth it to come to Letsrun today. Good work
Deer = Dear
Bowerman 5K = The biggest lie in the history of the world
"X IS BACK, BABY!"
usually in caps, usually meant ironically after yet another failed comeback from a once-promising runner.

The washing machine never recovered.
Rupp Certified = a cross country course that is overly easy. A cross country course with a mondo surface would be Rupp Certified. Can be used to connote anything that has been made as easy as possible, especially when adjustments are being made for one athlete or a handful of athletes.
In Trainers = Fairly self explanatory. A very fast run done under circumstances that are not Rupp Certified, as in Rexing ran a 13:55 IN TRAINERS. This is more or less antonymous to Rupp Certified.
The 'crete = Where all real running should be done. Refers to the concrete. Even better if done barefoot.
Any insult thrown your way = you have posted an opinion or training method that someone on this board slightly disagrees with. See: "Stop coaching because you suck at it. All the teams you have coached at Hughson in the last 10 years have sucked because you are an idiot. You don't coach running, you coach jogging."
Some that I don't think have been posted yet...
Saladbar / Alberto Salazar
brojos, wejo, rojo / LetsRun Founders, Weldon Johnson, Robert Johnson
Is [insert name] update? / What has [insert name] been up to?
Run / Jog
Also, since the average Joe may need a reminder...
Marathon / 26.2 miles
Ritz = mythical creature with bones of glass
Rexing = mythical creature who eats glass. Chuck Norris checks under the bed for Rexing.
Pics? = photographic evidence demanded to prove a point, or settle a hotness thread or a standard LRC reply that demands more evidence
This thread is useless without pics- same as above
You do realize...- the typical "I gotcha" reply/attempt to defeat another in a debate.
