A lot of us have come over from the Runners World forums since the Rossi thread was linked. There's certainly somewhat of a learning curve on these forums but it's nice of everyone to be so welcoming. Now if we could just get beginners and gear subforums this place would feel even more like home!

Assuming this is real, I think we better start throwing down some real tips about fuel belts, fanny packs, and the use of goo during a 7 mile run.
Speed Goggles - When you mistake every girl who is faster than you for being attractive.
Kenya - Where all the Kenyans come from
God - Ryan Hall's coach
Is "insert well known athlete" update? - Has "insert well known athlete" competed lately? What are they up to?
DAGS = Abbey D'Agostino's sweet, supple cheeks
Strength - How anorexic runner boys describe their aerobic prowess. Despite lacking any muscle whatsoever.
exercise = antonymous with "training", the chief mode of activity of hobby joggers
indicator = a workout that is just as good as running the race itself
mover and packer = chief financial contributor to letsrun.com
5'8" 135 lbs - muscular
"It's been fun, but there is just too much negative energy here and too many new as$holes who post bullshit and lots of great people who used to post all the time who have left or gone underground. I'm out. Life is too short. I'll be in Kona. Hope to see some of you there. Paulo knows how to find me." = I gotta take a dump. Back in ten minutes.
You mad, bro?
blue collar = didn't win NCAA title

You must be new here.
On front page articles and in some thread by the brojos you will sometimes see the word "Drug cheat" before the names of some runners and former runners.
There is no objective system to when this is used.
Mostly it is used when referencing an athlete that they don't like who either had some positive drug test at some point in their career or some affiliation with someone who may be involved in drugs.
It includes people that have been exonerated while it excludes others that have had positives.
It's kind of like the name calling you may have been involved in during elementary school.

Prove it.
goes home DEVASTATED = goes home maybe a little bummed-out
DESTROYS = out-leans
DESTROYED = got out-leaned
thejeff = Clydesdale cheater
marathon on the track

The people here call her drug cheat for her 1983 performances without any proof, just conjecture.
So you've changed brojos to "the people here" now, you stinking little liar.
I said: Prove it.
