1/2 British, just like the US President is 1/2 American.
George W was 100% retard.

Mo was Gebrhibetting on Gebrhisetting the pace over the last 600. Instead he fell right into the Gebrhinet.

Hear me out on this one. Mo could have easily won the Doha 3k if he wanted to. INSTEAD he decided to instill a false sense of confidence in the Africans. Now that Gebrihiwet "proved" Mo can be beaten in a slow race, the Africans will let the pace dawdle in Beijing thinking they'll have a chance to scalp a vulnerable Farah. Doha was just a ploy! WAKE UP!
Stunts like this are exactly why I have no respect for Mr Farah. What about the sport?!?
Too right. Some intelligence on this board, finally

Mo never lived with his father after he sneaked into the UK. He lived with his aunty.

I´d rather be a liar than a retard. A liar can tell the truth if he choses to. George W could not have done anything remotely similar to thinking even if someone pointed gun at him.

Planning ahead for when it really counts is just common sense. I'm with you that far. But I saw something different. I saw Mo getting really surprised when that new longlegged young gun made a second attempt on the outside, so he let him get ahead to see what he was made of. Remember, everyone else important in the field he's already familiar with and has beaten when it counts. Taking the new guy down over the last 100 was more important than yet another victory over guys he's beaten before.
Also, he did lose to another longlegged Ethiopian namned Dejen Gebremeskel in his season opener a few years back, and Dejen grew to be his number one challenger in London 2012 over the 5000. And they year before that, in 2011, Ibrahim Jeilan came out of nowhere to snub him of the 10000 worlds title. The biggest threat to Mo at Worlds are probably unknown Ethiopians he's never raced before.
BTW: Why wasn't Dejen Gebremeskel in this race? Has he given up on track already and moved over to roads?

people on this site constantly amaze me with THERE stupidity. .[/quote]
This is just priceless.
Gebremeskel is concentrating on the 5000m for WC this year. Not sure why he wasn't in the race but he did win maybe the mile at Boston Marathon or some road mile recently.
There hasn't been a single Mo race in 4 years in which they didn't let the pace dawdle. What has changed?
So the pace dawdled when he ran 3:28 for the 1500 in a race that was supposed to be a world record attempt by Kiprop? The pace dawdled when he broke the world indoor record for 2 miles this year? The pace dawdled when he ran 12:53 and 26:46 in 2011? Or when he went sub 60 in the half marathon? Ya might need to back up your claim before you claim it haha.

3:28 = Mo lost
12:53 = Mo lost
26:46 = Mo won at his "home" track
Mo loses when the pace doesn't dwadle, unless he has a home field advantage.
OK I'll play.....
What was a bit odd about this race was that Mo was markedly superior to the field, and clearly was not out of juice (witness his final straight) and was well within time potential, and was doing everything textbook until 2 laps to go, yet mysteriously ran out of gas for a while, only to regain form at the end (too late). So considering:
- he doesn't need the money - Hagos does.
- he doesn' need the win really. Only WC matters
- the public obsesses about his streak. I don't think Mo does.
- it's probably better for the sport to lose occasionally in a fairly major race.
A pretty good case could be made here for a fixer.
Yeah, Mo always lets me win when I race him.

I agree. It's Bush's fault that Mo didn't win.

You know full well that Mo wasn't controlling that 1500 and that the field was dragged by Kiprop to PBs.
Oh, and Mo is as British as Lagat is American. The End!
Socal Cush, we know you hate on Lagat. Lagat is an American citizen, who lives in the U.S., and pays U.S. taxes. Farah is a Somalian, who somehow got British citizenship--his father seems to have disowned him for reasons Farah won't discuss--, and does not live in the UK to avoid paying British taxes--he has a permanent address change to the U.S.
For those who wonder about Farah and his commitment to the UK this is an interesting read.
Takeaways:
- Mo's father seems to be a long time resident, but not born in the UK.
- Mo had a temper, and got into fights as a young boy.
- Mo had little academic aptitude, and no real ambitions.
- At age 14, Mo had an opportunity to run for the UK in Latvia, but... it became clear the Latvian authorities would not allow him into the country and it was possible the British would also refuse entry on his return to his adoptive homeland.
The Africans figured out Farah's trick, he will not defend his gold medals this Summer in the Orient
