This question is directed mainly at people under the age of 30. I also do not intend for this to sound judgmental in any way. I'm a college student (undergraduate, only run for exercise purposes now ). I have some friends who almost always just want to stay in and watch movies on the weekend. I really don't understand the appeal in that this can be done literally any other night of the week once homework is done. In the 2 nights per week in which I don't have early morning classes the next day, I almost always prefer to go out and socialize, dance, drink let loose etc. Not only that, it always makes me feel so unproductive to waste away at home watching netflix all night while my other friends are out having fun. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying everyone should go out and get plastered every weekend. It's just the "anti-socialness" of staying in that bothers me. It's great to hang out with people who you already like but it's also great to talk to new people every once in a while. I guess it's different if you have a significant other to always keep you company but idk...
