Here is an update on a proposal that would be great for all.
Okay, if you really want to put the heat on Rossi, this is what Brojos should do:
1.) Offer $100,000 to Rossi if he runs a 3:11 marathon to be donated to the F.O.P. Survivor's Fund. This is the charity his golf tournament benefits.
2.) Offer $10,000 donation for a 3:25.
3.) Offer $5,000 donation for a 3:30
4.) Offer $1,000 donation for a 3:40.
5.) Offer $500 donation for attempting the challenge.
This would put pressure on Rossi to attempt the challenge and at the same time let all of his "friends" see if he is the real deal. I don't think there is any way he would be able to turn down this offer without really looking like a fool in front of all of the people he tries to help with the charity.

Also, I see no harm in Brojos offering $1,000,000 to the charity for a 3:11. It is impossible for Rossi to accomplish, and the story would be huge!! They would have to be comfortable with it though, since it is their money.
They would want to make the terms clear and have someone follow him on the attempt.
You could easily make it much larger than that - $10,000,000 or more. But forget their own money, that's dumb. All they need to do get an insurer who will sell you the policy for the $10,000,000 based on the extraordinarily low risk that he could ever run a 3:11 marathon. Rojo would have to pay the insurance premium, but given the relatively impossible risk of him actually running a 3:11 marathon I can't imagine it would be a lot of money.
Rojo - just get an insurance broker to look into it for you. There is an insurer out there willing to write that policy for you, they will write a policy for anything. It's just a matter of how much it would cost you. But, if you set it up right and look at the odds, the risk is so very low I really don't think you will be paying a lot for that policy. Then, when you do it, Mike Rossi is turning down $10,000,000 - and then even any idiot friend of Mike who's never run a day in their life will understand what that proves. Mike Rossi is a cheater.
Great idea on looking at insurance broker. I think this would be huge and would be all over every major news outlet once the story got out.
Love this thread:
1. LMR stay on the thread but stay focused.
2. Mike you are a complete dirtbag cheater and deserve this..
3. Barb McKeever is a piss poor RD that enables cheating. Barb McKeever doesn't care about running and shouldn't be a race director, it's like Donald Trump running an outreach program for Muslims or Hillary Clinton hosting a "Truth Seminar". I will never run a race she race directs.
4. I like the idea of putting an offer out there for charity.

What's next? Who's next? C'mon now! Don't leave me hanging! After all, I'm "STILL IN THE GAME BABY!!" - Mike Rossi, East Coast Event Group, "on-air personality" for 92.5 XTU Philadelphia Country Radio Station
Barb McKeever begs to disagree. She's smarter and more experienced to make the call as a 2+ hr half marathoner and Via Marathon RD than rojo.
See? Barb McKeever loves my orange hair! I'm "STILL IN THE GAME BABY!"

I'm from Europe (Belgium) and many over here are aware of this story. Rightly so because it's pretty fascinating stuff. Good thing that people following Rossi's shenanigans. I also like the idea of the charity.

Just a reminder, and a heads up for newcomers - the person posting as Kenneth Stillman is not me. LMR (for Loser Mike Rossi) is really me. I'm stating this so everyone knows that I didn't make all those obnoxious posts for the last few pages. Some of you make think I'm an a$$hole, but I'm not THAT much of an a$$hole. ;-)
Your opinion only.

A dream come true I'm sure. Mike is one of Runners World's "Most Popular Running Stories of 2015"
http://www.runnersworld.com/year-in-review/the-most-popular-running-stories-of-2015although he is unduly given credit for his 20:25.
A little side-note on that RW article. Alison Wade, who wrote it, used to (she may still do it) park herself around the one-mile-to-go point at the NYCM (in the Park, near the Zoo) and snap photos of the top few hundred. Those photos would show lots of pain and vacant stares.
(And it's the RW Editors who put the 20:25 up at face value.)

Come on. Don't get into that again. Almost 50% of this thread is filled bickering between the fat man and folks like you.
Let's focus on the RAT named ROSSI.
Everyone should check out the video of Mike finishing VIA. I love that air punch he gives. Classic
Congrats Mikey: On the 20.000 posts and you being mentioned in the RW top10.
For all the wrong reasons of course!
More and more people know of the RAT named ROSSI.
I feel that the effort to reach 20,000 post was rossied. Corners were cut. I wonder if it were Mike. Magic 8 Ball says... "Most Definitely"

We should collectively write a children's story titled Rossi the Rat to teach kids about the consequences of cheating. Authored by the Letsrun Vigilantes, published by the Brojos, all proceeds to a running related charity.

Why are you such a dickweed.
Your brain must be as small as a pea + it has not developed since childhood.
