So Monday night at 9:18 PM my mother, who lives with me, gets a phone call. She then hands me the phone and tells me it's the Abington Police. I tried to tell it that there is no way it can be the police and to hang up on them. But she insists I talk o them. So I take the phone and the person on the other end says he is Detective Philip Geliebter.
THAT... NAME!!!

Seems like he scared you Ken.
.
Well, no. It sounded like the police officer was being good about it and he asked Ken if he would stop, Ken said he would. The police really don't need to deal with this ridiculous petty crap and they never should have been called by Rossi, that was not ok. Now Rossi is wasting police time in another childish effort to intimidate Ken? How low can this guy sink? There is something very wrong with Mike Rossi.
Anyway, say what you like about Ken - but when the police asked him to stop and he said he would (even though legally he does not have to), it's a stand up thing to do. Let the police get on with real police work.
Although, Ken, I get what he has said about your family and what he tried to do with your work is horrible stuff - but you would do yourself a favour by being the bigger person, rather than emulating the behaviour of Rossi. If you act like him, it makes it hard for people to say that you aren't as bad a person as he is. I would hope you wouldn't want to be known as being no better than him? Call him out on his cheating - publish it on his high school Facebook page, whatever you feel you need to do, just don't mention his family any more and you'll be fine.
Boston to the Basement Biatches!
Come on Ken. Listen to this:

Still in the game.
Something snapped with the man: Somewhere after his disappointing time at the Turkey Trot and subsequent 'stepping into a hole' the man felt the need to call law enforcement about somebody commenting on his actions.
Seems to me that it should be the other way around: If you do stupid things, people will comment. Clearly he cannot reflect himself, he doesn't seem to have the idea that some of the criticism is actually deserved.
What a hopeless guy.
I just got a date with mike on fitness singles. I hope he likes my fat fingers too .

Just to follow up on the events of the detective's phone call. I was skeptical at first. I couldn't believe that a police offer would even consider following up on a complaint about somebody making mean tweets. Seems like a good use of taxpayer money, right?
So I just thought it must have been some dirtbag corrupt cop that Mike knew from his fraudulent golf charity. I was also suspicious because the number he called from didn't trace back to the police department - it was listed as the municipal building in Abington. And then I thought it was weird that they called my mother's cell phone. I don't even know how they would get that number. Especially since my landline is still listed and Mike knows my cell number. Plus it's on my video website. I can only speculate that Mike didn't want to reveal too much of our history for fear the cop would just laugh at him and hang up.
But the fact that a different, and female, officer had left a message earlier in the day made me realize that the detective must have been legit. I doubt Mike could have gotten two officers to try and threaten me. But with some Googling I discovered that the detective is also a deacon in the episcopal church. I found him on Facebook and sent him a nice note. I don't know if he'll read it. It probably went to his "other" messages folder. Basically I suggested that he reach out to Mike as a man of God and offer Mike some guidance.
I doubt Mike would accept, even from a spiritual leader. I don't see Mike as a person who has any faith whatsoever. If he did he wouldn't keep lying to his family. But at least in this instance I can say that I took the high road.

Loving the new Twitter-layout.
Maybe this is a good Xmas present for Mike:
http://www.amazon.com/Boston-Marathon-Qualify-Jeff-Galloway/dp/1841262919"This book lays out all the training necessary to qualify for the Boston Marathon. Due to significant rest days each week, and Galloway's highly successful run-walk-run method, most runners run injury free and can enjoy family and social activities while improving performance to the highest level."
Maybe Mike can contact the author to add a chapter on his run-walk-drive-walk-run method.

That woman ran a 19:23 at the Haddon Turkey Trot, but she has a half marathon PR of 1:23. So if Mike had done a better job at cheating and "broken 20 minutes" last week, he'd expect people to believe he passed 600+ people and then finished near someone with a 1:23 half marathon PR. I don't think he understands just how ridiculous that sounds.

Her full marathon PR is 3:14. Just saying.
Well done. Not a religious person here man, but admire those who have courage in their convictions. Mike is a lost cause though. And an a**hole supreme.

For example I just coached my friend to a 3:28 in NYC. He had never run more than 7 miles before May this year. I know 3:28 is a way off from 3:11 but if you offered 100K for a 3:11 by next May I bet that it could've happened.
Rossi is just too lazy, that sub 20 min was a gift and he couldn't even do that.
The difference is your friend just started running. That's when you improve a ton - the first 18 months. The thing I had going for me is Rossi had been obsessed for like 18 months so i thought it was unlikely he'd get a lot better.
What you are saying is true but keep in mind that over the 18 months Rossi likely wasn't training properly or efficiently with someone training him who knows what they are doing both the dub 3:25 and sub 20 would've been possible. The other variable is you were banking on Rossi being too lazy and on that account you made a safe bet.
