23:51. Good catch. His name is misspelled.

He couldn't even keep his marathon pace for a 5K (sarcasm), must have been a bad day but then again most 3:11 marathoners would be on twitter bragging about a 23:51 5K.
I don't recall any mention of Rossi being out of shape or overweight. He is just a marathon cheat.
Is this what a midlife crisis looks like in the internet age?

My best marathon is just over 4 hours. If it were me, I'd be totally bragging about a 23:51.
As it stands, what Rossi is bragging about is like me bragging about a 30 minute 5K.

He is looking at a 4 hour finish at NYC. Of course if the weather is rough, then maybe 4:10. That 23:51 predicts a 3:52 marathon. But NYC is pretty much all up and down. I think a sub 4hr is going to be a challenge.
You are being too kind. We are talking about a cheater here. He hasn't done any training like most others. He's going to walk it home at 4:40

Some have said he's fat. That stretch shirt is pretty "ew" but he's not fat.
Honestly, 23:51 is surprisingly slow for Mike. He thinks an AG win with that time is worth something?

I just don't get why he doesn't try training for the sub 20 for 10K, I think if he put in the work he's be able to do it. Wasn't his time in Philly in the 3:40s? So that 23:51 is slow for him, he's either out of shape or sandbagging us.
Wow. So there were only a total of 3 people in his M40-49 group and this was his competition.
Mike Rossi 23:51
Tom Smith 30:45
Steve Gessner 30:59
Way to go, Mike.

Don't try to apply logic to a boy who has no ethics, morals or integrity.
He was beaten by three women in their 20s
Mike is wondering how we react.
I for one am laughing.
reg fields, I believe he can't break 20, so training for it would mean coming up short. That would be embarrassing, even more than cheating at LVM. Right, Mike?
Also, training implies actual hard work. You know, something like 50mpw. Mike prefers to stick to his healthy range of 15mpw, while still getting injured.

See I believe that he can break 20 but he's just too lazy to put in the 50mpw that you are referencing. If they upped the $10K for sub 20 to a million I bet he'd do it. Sub 20 is not that hard, any healthy (not overweight) male his age can do it with proper training much easier than a 3:11 marathon.
I think that the Brojos made a mistake with that sub 20 offer but Mike is just to lazy to cash in on it.
If he really wanted to get a reaction out of us why not for exampleget a sub 20 guy to run at a podunk race like that (ok maybe not that one because sub 20 wins it) under the name Mike Rossi. Of course he wouldn't get the $$ because there would be no proof but this guy just craves attention which is what he'd get.
WOW!
A BLISTERING 23 minutes and 51 seconds!
We all know he is slow as all hell, so no surprise there.
But the name he used to register?
MIKE ROSS?

Who races just before a marathon anyway? I don't know anyone who would recommend such a thing especially when $100,000 is on the line.

23:51 for a 5K isn't racing for a 3:11 marathoner.
The Brojos should start a prediction contest for Rossi's NYC Marathon, winner gets a lets run shirt sort of like the thread of the day?
