How are new people asking questions in this thread? I'm stunned because you can't get to it from the LR page. You have to google it. And that's bad news for our lovable anti-hero, Mike Rossi.

Sorry to disillusion you wrote:Sorry to disillusion you down there in your basement but I don't think anyone on planet earth gives a rats arse about Mike, apart from the half dozen psychopathic obsessives on here.
Either you are lying, or you believe you are one of 6 people who post on here and you have a mental illness. Guess it doesn't really matter which is true.

That's what is wrong with America. 9 months of school is not enough.
If you want to spin the Chicken Dance AND the Electric Slide when you're an adult, you have to train 12 months a year.

I feel bad for saying this but I hope you guys can bring me back to a more positive side. Every year there is a July 4 race in my hometown and a lot of people come back almost like a homecoming of sorts. The proceeds go for high school scholarships to track and field athletes. It is everything good about running and America.
There is one guy from high school that razzed me in high school and shows up and pretty much beats me and a few others every year now and then rubs our noses in it. Tells us at the start that he'll wait around at the finish for us to cheer and all. But it is all passive aggressive.
Anyway we can't stand it but the fact is none of us are faster than him.
So this weekend we got to talk in about how this guy reminds us of what we perceive to be Rossis personality without the cheating and we wish we could give it to him. We tried training the last three years and no go. Either we did not improve or got hurt we are all getting older. So the suggestion is made this year that we all cut the course together, very easy to do and we are all such that no one would question us because of our jobs etc. alternatively that we trip him or something We pretty much rejected all that after a few beers.
But the idea of having one of us beat him is so tempting that I and one other guy can't stop thinking about either cutting the course or relaying a bib or something.
I know it is not worth it but it just is like an obsession that this guy is gonna taunt us. If we did it we would tell the race director in advance or right after so as not to screw anyone but we just want to be at the finish and "cheer" him on just once
Tell me I'm wrong. And to stop thinking about it.

Do it
I know it's the summer, but you flunked troll school.
Summer troll school for you!
Just don''t run the race, meet the guy near the finish line chute and make him think you beat him. For a little while you'll have some fun and maybe he will stop being a jerk in the future. Doubtful but seeing his face when he thinks he was beaten may make it all worthwhile.
Why is this thread hidden?
That makes you no better than Mike. Have you not learned anything over these past 400 pages?

It is hidden like Mike Rossi on the LVM course. You just have to know where to look (the highway).
This thread is now missing from the front page, but it's an excused absence. Mike wrote a letter to the brojos and explained everything.

That's funny! Well done.

Mike's learned more in this thread than during his entire trip to Boston.
