He won the ability to be ridiculed at every race he ever runs. He will be pointed out and runners will yell at him that he is a cheater. He won his whole family being an outcast at the school that he so supposedly loves. Do you think any parent is going to want to be friends with Cindy Rossi. I would love to be a fly on the wall for back to school night and watch every other parent stare and whisper about what douchebags they both are. He won a lifetime his kids having no friends. Because would any parent in their right minds at that school let their children play with Jack and Victoria Rossi? Go forbid your kids ever had a disagreement and you'd have that fvcking lunatic posting his BS all over the internet about your kids and bullying them. And Mike won the knowledge that every place he runs or takes his family he may gets people yelling at him that he is cheater and his kids will eventually Google his name and discover the POS that he really is.
Yeah, Mike won. Scared his family for life, but at least he won.
That is why you think "mike wins"? You need to take a course in logic and understand how basic PR works. Mike loses for most of the reasons you say make him a winner. But underlying why he loses is the much publicized facts showing he cheated and the corresponding widespread belief that Mike is a cheater. Repeating those damaging facts over and over is bad for Mike. From a PR stance you want that stopped and the story to go away. Egging people on and having the same bad story told over and over is not good for Mike. It's all bad. So, in reality, that this thread is ongoing and the facts showing he cheated are repeated constantly, that makes Mike lose. Sorry. If you're Mike's friend - egging these people on to keep repeating the damaging facts and repeat that Mike is a cheater is bad for Mike.
I think Mike cheated, don't get me wrong, I'm not on his side, but this "mike wins" thing is really stupid - unless the intent is actually a devious way to actually harm Mike's reputation, then it is working very well.
Back off ... How are we going to get to 10,000 posts without a little redundancy??!!
Not even remotely disguised, Ken. I am as against Rossi as anyone for his cheating, lying, and viral school antics, and his flaccid attempts of intimidation. But once again you have offered your two cents invoking his wife's name, brought up kids, bullying and school which is uncalled for and reflects on you more than him. .

Redundancy. Or repeating.

WOW - first off I must say that the last time I came in here to this post, it was only at like 250 messages posted! GREAT JOB to those who keep it going!
OK, so I got an interesting message from someone on Twitter (https://twitter.com/runnershighh). Had a video link for LV Marathon Photo Analysis:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=20&v=vGilRGr2GlIit is 9 minutes long but damn good work!!!
Then there is this blog I found:
http://runningwithintegrity.blogspot.comI still feel Rossi cheated - but since LV Marathon did not DQ him, this just paves the way for more like him, Kip, or Dane to step up and continue the cheating in the sport of running. I am sure Rossi will probably even do it again to satisfy his ego and I am sure others will come along in the future to do the same.
At church today the pastor talked about gay marriage and the importance of moving on and forgiving people for our own sake. Not just for their sake but for ours.
So I forgive all you people falsely accusing Mike and obsessing about him.
And I forgive Mike for cutting any course.
And i forgive Sara B for coming on an American board and blathering like a Brit.
I forgive the race directors who had to deal with this.
I forgive pretty much everybody.
But this is a one time deal.

The pace has really slowed down, it might take something new to happen to get to 10K.

So you will "forgive" homosexuals for being homosexual?
What a wonderful human you are.
And this should be done in Chicago if the loser shows up there. I hope it is done often and loudly if not continuously if someone is shadowing the cheater during the race. He deserves every ounce of disrespect runners can toss his way. This is what Mike won. Enjoy.
Yeah. He has to be the "Mike Rossi" of Cheater Mike Rossi fame the rest of his life. I feel bad for him. He is but a victim.
I don't feel badly for him. He brought this on himself and refused to come clean when confronted, enabled by VIA's idiocy. He has entered his family name in the lexicon of the cheater. He did this to his family which I do feel sorry for, they have to live with his dishonest actions. When they search on the family name they will have to relive his stupidity for all of their lives.Yeah, Mike wins.

Glad you appreciated it. Circulate the link. If every race director and hopeful BQer out there viewed it, who knows, it might accomplish something.
Some of you have a very interesting definition of winning. I'd have to say this entire thing since the letter has to be a nightmare for mike.
I hope you are a troll.
Otherwise, just go sulk in your garbage in another country where they recognize valor as only refusing to serve their country. There are plenty.
Just because you think there was valor in that, doesn't mean there isn't valor in serving as well . . . risking your life because you want to protect the other young men who did what they think was right.
Valor is not specific to being a coward.

Do not compare stolen valor to this situation.
It is comparable so STFU.

Confession time, I'm really a serial poster on this thread I just use different handles and want to keep this tread going because if it doesn't I won't have anything to live for. In saying I haven't been here since post 250 I'm trying to convince myself I have a life and that I'm not obsessed with Mike . Sorry.

Seeing as how the Pastor herself is gay, I took the message clearly as forgiving those who opposed gay marriage.
You I do not forgive. Like I said it was a one time deal.
