So we can expect VIA to exercise good judgement and DQ Mike Rossi.Yeah.VIA - what a joke of a race. Hope someone sets a WR there this year, perhaps a grandmasters runner goes under 2 with far less odds than these for Mikey.

Ken,
I'm not sure who if anyone is left in that group...but don't blame Sarah for blowing it up.
Many of us, as it turns out, were close to bailing on it anyhow--or were just in it but not contributing much.
I don't think anyone had issue with your bringing up the accomplice theory..the issue came when you wouldn't listen or would dismiss the criticism or rebuttals to your theory. You also lost most of us when you suggested recording the possible conspirator.
Kicking Sarah was the last straw. Sarah was instrumental in the investigation - and her blog post was widely seen and quoted in articles.
Good luck with getting healthy. Start slow. Work on diet and weight first, and then ease into running. Don't go too fast at first.
I did not make the video, at least this one. I'm not sure who did, but they did do a great job. Thanks for your analysis, I'm glad it is close to what was on the video.

Yeah, and I see your point, but I think it could have gotten cleared up had we discussed it.
There was never intention of calling anybody and outright accusing them of anything. Nobody ever suggested that. The purpose of contacting runners was to ask them of they had seen Rossi and if they had ever been contacted by the committee.
I had contacted one runner via email. Reached out to a few others with FB friend requests. And another presented contacted anode runner already.
And I just said that if we talk on the photo with somebody that it should recorded so that their statement can't be considered hearsay, by whomever will be looking over the evidence. Otherwise we could just claim to have talked to 30 runners with no actual proof that we did.
That was the purpose.
Ken - no matter the topic, you were resolute in your mission and when people tried to get you to tone down your personal, family, professional and other non-running attacks, you became more obnoxious and tried to rationalize away your behavior and sounded like an elementary school kid by saying yeah but he did this and that. To make matter worse, you tried controlling what was said here via your own secret facebook society. Finally, you still never saw how you appeared to be a bully here just as you were accusing someone else of being. Ugh, stop and leave, again.

The following post has absolutely nothing to do with Mike Rossi.
Ken - Please channel your obsessive personality towards something productive, like diet and exercise. Put some sneakers on and walk around the park for an hour everyday. Eat some healthy cereal in the morning and reasonable foods for lunch and dinner. Never eat after 8pm. In 3 months you will start feeling really good about yourself and the things you are doing.
Good luck in the days ahead.
Now, back to our regularly scheduled train wreck.
GO AWAY KEN!
You shouldn't try to start posting here just a couple days after everybody told you to get loss. You have never run races and never will.
You need to take this elsewhere.
Don't post here anymore you're just trolling and not very good at it.
GO

Great job Doubler, this is another BQ spot that we can hopefully prevent from being stolen by a cheater. It's sad that race directors don't look at the results a few days after the race, its clear as day that her splits are extremely unrealistic.

Seems like a lot of women cheat at marathons. Plus Mike Rossi of course. Does wearing a fanny pack make one more likely to cheat? Sees like a lot of women, plus Mike Rossi, wear fanny packs during races.
That one was reported to me on the blog comments. Took me awhile to get to it. There are lots of people missing the 20 mile split. But initially their times look like they make sense, but I will dig deeper.

You are doing great work. I appreciate it and even if you get 10-20 cheaters DQed that's 10-20 you have opened up for honest, hardworking runners. Thank you!

Good to see y'all still arguing amongst yourselves, how's what's left of "that group" going with the new evidence, any release date yet?

Be patient, Mike. It's coming. Prepare the wife and kids for your humiliation.
My favorite comment and race director answer on the Lehigh facebook page, from a few days before the 2014 race:
Q: "Is there athlete tracking?"
A: "There is not athlete tracking."
Btw, welcome back mileage_man, I'm glad you appreciated the video. I'm not quite convinced you need to set N = 199, since that makes the presumption that Rossi did not run through any checkpoint, and I wanted to determine the prob. that he did. The 1 in 570000 is also a lower limit, of course, since a) you could do the analysis for the top 300, 500 etc. to refine the prob. at each checkpoint (but is it only the time interval where Rossi should have run by, given his finish time relevant?), and b) there are a few other locations where runners were photographed. I didn't include the latter since the p value of being missed was rather high (e.g. 0.7 - also, Laplace's rule assumes you know each trial has a true or false value, but what if a photo checkpoint didn't cover the full top 200 time interval - the trial value would be null for some runners). If you'd like to discuss the statistics off this board, email me at
Mike,
I want you to have a chance to weigh in on a plan to humiliate you.
Should we buy a billboard in your hometown and put up a sign that says, "Mike Rossi cheated in the Lehigh Valley Health Network Via Marathon AND has really bad hair!" It would have your post-race photo with the medal you didn't earn on one side (with the word FRAUD underneath) and your ridiculous headshot with obviously fake hair on the other side.
Or should we have a plane fly over the marathon pulling a sign that says, "Mike Rossi cheated. #BostonFraud!"
Or should we really crowd fund the heck out of it and do both?

I will not contribute a single dime to this.
Mikey has gorgeous hair.
I will not support your lies.
