Except that cheating the race hurt one nameless, faceless person from getting into Boston, which they might be able to do next year.
Mike bullying the principal hurt a woman who dedicated her entire career to educating children. They work long hours and put up with ungrateful kids and parents, and for not as much pay as you probably think they make. And being a government employee made her a sitting duck for his media attacks and fanatical people threatening her.
Read the news. Kids are getting bullied and committing suicide on a pretty regular basis. Does it change anything because this is a grown woman and she lived through it?
Bullying is bullying.[/quote]
So you think further bullying of MRossi is necessary and justified even though it will impact his family as innocent bystanders.
Bullying is the use of force, threat, or coercion to abuse, intimidate, or aggressively dominate others. The behavior is often repeated and habitual. One essential prerequisite is the perception, by the bully or by others, of an imbalance of social or physical power, which distinguishes bullying from conflict. Behaviors used to assert such domination can include verbal harassment or threat, physical assault or coercion, and such acts may be directed repeatedly towards particular targets. Rationalizations for such behavior sometimes include differences of social class, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, appearance, behavior, body language, personality, reputation, lineage, strength, size or ability.
Cyberbullying is any bullying done through the use of technology.
Often, bullying takes place in the presence of a large group of relatively uninvolved bystanders. In many cases, it is the bully's ability to create the illusion that he or she has the support of the majority present that instills the fear of "speaking out" in protestation of the bullying activities being observed by the group. Unless the "bully mentality" is effectively challenged in any given group in its early stages, it often becomes an accepted, or supported, norm within the group
LoserMikeRossi, you have made your points. They are posted here for all to see, now you are just becoming the example of bullying that you assert you are against. Perhaps you have been bullied and are so immersed that you cannot see it. A simple suggestion, take 24 hours off from posting then come back and see how you feel. The thread will still be here.
