Huh?
More than kind words. We will see.

Mike keeps saying he submitted data to LVM that he did not share with the general public.
Why would you believe even for one moment that this is true? Like everything else he has done since being called out as a cheating sewer rat, it is exactly what a liar would say and in complete opposition to what an honest person would say.
If you knew that hundreds of runners were gleefully trashing and mocking and maligning you for hours on end, day after day, with more than a few of them making it their mission to ensure that you were more or less drummed out of running forever, and you could prove that they were wrong, what kind of demented masochist would you have to be to share your proof ONLY with the race committee?
This guy is a no-holds-barred, dingleberry-encrusted ass hole. There's no compelling reason to keep his kids out of it because if they share even half of their DNA with their dad, there's a good chance that they are and forever will be too mentally impaired to comprehend any of this. That's no reason to make them a part of this, merely a statement that it doesn't matter one way or the other.
MR will have a large entourage if he runs Chicago. The people of Chicago will welcome him with open arms and we expect to cheer him on to a new marathon PR.
Has it occurred to anyone that maybe part of the deal with the RD is that he couldn't share any details with anyone (especially a public forum)? A whole committee was set up to investigate, what makes anyone think they didn't do a thorough job? I think you people are overanalyzing and digging a little too deep for something that's not there.
3:43:51!!!!!!!!! AWESOME YOU CHEATING SCUMBAG!!! Mike Rossi...he never met a corner he didn't cut!

LOL - you're funny. And apparently not a marathoner. And could either be MR or one of the extended Rossi clan.In any case, please keep posting, the attempts to defend the biggest douche to grace marathoning in recent memory have been true comic gold.

No, it hasn't. Because there were no race photos of Mike Rossi on the course that day, and the inescapable conclusion is that he cheated. Are you stupid enough to think that this motley bunch of 'tards produced the missing photos somehow -- and kept them to themselves?
No, it hasn't occurred to anyone. Because it didn't happen. Mikey cheated plain and simple, he is his own biggest fan and if there was a 5% chance his finish time was authentic he would have tweeted about it until his fingers fell off.Nobody who has ever actually trained for and raced a marathon believes for a second that he ran that course in 3:11.Thanks for stopping by though.

I don't doubt for a second there will be a ton of people wanting MR to show up for Chicago - not sure if they will be the cheering type though...

My guess is he never runs another marathon. He will never come close to a 3:11 (even if he doubled his training to a crazy amount of say 30 miles a week).
If I were him I would also feel no need to share the evidence with posters. I'm sure his family is happy with his approach and they've moved on. Maybe it's time we all do as well.

Just make sure it's not Rossi posing as Abington runner because that sounds like a page right out of the old Rossi playbook.

If he runs sub 2:30 at Chicago that would be circumstantial evidence that he ran 3:11 at Lehigh. It would show he was capable of the 3:11.
If he runs sub 2:30 without being caught, it will prove he's the greatest cheater ever. Faking a 3:11 at a small event like LVM is apparently really easy, but faking a 2:30 at a big event like Chicago will be very difficult. He'd better start planning now.

What's it cost to run CHI...200 bucks plus travel and lodging? There will be an entourage around Mike at all times? So collectively you will spend thousands to run a 3:11 to 4:15 hour marathon (odds are MR will drop triathleteguru and several others here). Your plan sounds good on paper but your only victory is if he doesn't drop out, his time is immaterial. That will be a long boring day to prove how shallow of a life you actually have.
If I rob a bank and the police suspect I did it but I don't get busted I'm going to keep the money, count my lucky stars and rob no more banks.
Sounds like maybe you should move on. The people interested in the truth are here for the long haul.

I doubt that! My first marathon was Chicago less than a year after I started running and I ran a 3:21 which is faster than anything Mike Rossi has ever run!
