Doesn't the RD have the authority to DQ? She can say, "Listen, after reviewing the evidence in more detail, it is obvious he did not run the entire race. Therefore, having the sole discretion to DQ a runner, MR has 72 hours to provide evidence that he was on the course between the start and finish, or he will be disqualified."The authority to do so is on the registration form. Worst case scenario, refund his entry fee. Case closed.

I am sure the RD does have the authority to do. But in this case, there was a Committee established. One Yasso said so in an article in Runners World and second, the statement released last Friday indicated that there was a Committee.
yasso is a tool.

GregTR - can we get that chart sorted by date order with the LVM invcluded in the sort but highlight in red or some other color?
Times for the first three, shorter distances listed below were basically my PR's when I was in my early forties and running really well. The longer the race, the more I struggled, and I never got close to 3:11, even after some very good, marathon-specific training. From what I've seen of Mr. Rossi's results, there isn't a snowball's chance in hell he could run 3:11. Especially without any sort of speed work, tempos, or race pace runs. In any of his training "bragging" blogs, I never once saw him reference this type of training. The man knows nothing about running. Nothing.

You need to get medical help.
How long before your cyber-stalking leads to you staring at Mike Rossi's house from the bushes across the street?
It's sad how you continue to try to place yourself as leading this charge, trying to get people to rally around you.
You are a sad little man. An insignificant speck.
Seek medical attention.
How do you know there are bushes across the street?
Hi Mike.
Hi GregTR
I asked him what kind of workouts he did on the Phili.com thread, he's unable to provide this because he doesn't have them, and he can't even speak the language of running well enough to fake it.I ran 1:30:xx and 3:10:xx 5 weeks apart, same age as Rosi Rossi, the McMillan calcs have always been dead on for me.There's no way he did the work.

I just noticed he PR'd in the 5k 13 days after his epic performance at LVM. Hilarious, who PR's 13 days after hanging it out there in a hot marathon? Here's the list of who:Those guys. To boot it's still over 2 mins slower than his 5k would have to be to indicate a 3:11.LVM RD should be ashamed of herself.Great chart GregTR

This thread has gone from one of the greatest to the saddest in letsrun history. The proverbial horse has been beaten to death.

Actually it was 3 weeks after a marathon PR. I also got a 10 mile PR a week after the 5K. Who would want all that fitness to go to waste? But I did beat my marathon equivalent performance by 32 seconds in the 10 mile and by 31 seconds in the 5K.

Is this story legit? If it's true then that RD sucks so much more than the LVM RD that it's not even funny :-(.
3 weeks you were recovered :) I had my best "easy" run ever about 16 days after. You are right about marathon fitness though, which is why Mike ran his 21:42 5k, which equates to what, 3:30? (I'm just guessing). Still didn't happen!

Idiot. Unicorns don't die. They are mythical. Just like Mike's 3:11!

What trophy would she be entitled to ?
"She is fast too .... 10:42 mile pace" ????? Fast. ?????
No chip time means DQ. Doesn't mean she cheated intentionally No different than a double false start.
People are weird. In both directions. Some zealots trying to get rossi DQ. And others trying to undo a DQ.
I predict this thread will reach 10000 posts by July 1. Even though the thread has not trained for it or done the work
Talk about junk science.Btw, I wonder if the Feds would like a 'fun' investigation into Our Hero since the Salazar crucifixion will be rather painful. Hi Feds! (Fun = F. U. Nike)
