Maybe he was able to get through the Kip thread and realized the best strategy is to really lay low... he evaded the DQ but the dust has yet to settle. We will all forget eventually right?

Is it me, or does it seem like the people who are claiming we should "get a life" and "stop all this nonsense" are posting more than actual runners? If there truly is nothing to see here anymore why do these people keep hanging around posting?
I like it in here, it's a good online place to be.
Cool story bro!
I posted this one on Page 23:
Oh he's a cheating legend now, Hall of Famer for sure. Ain't nobody forgettin' nuffin here.

Good question. It is likely part of MR's social media minions and family, which only makes us (runners and those with integrity) more resolute in our quest for justice and fairness.
GregTR - can we get that chart sorted by date order with the LVM invcluded in the sort but highlight in red or some other color?
When I do an '"ocular" regression (ie, eyeball it),' this one looks very suspect "10 ----- 7:28", any split times or photos for it?
Interesting. I think I would even question that 8:32 marathon pace. He's running half marathons between 8:05 and 8:34, and then runs a full marathon at 8:32?
Just like his Via time, not impossible, but highly improbable.
What race is that?

I think those posts are coming from Mike or his friends. Seems to be generally two different tactics:
(1) try to make people feel bad for caring and posting - with the argument that by doing so they are actually the bad person; and
(2) the argument that he actually did run 3:11 - which is making use of the well known practice among politicians that if you write it a lie and repeat that lie often enough, some people will eventually believe that lie.
I don't see that either are or can work here. I think is because of what someone else wrote about how there is just something about cheating and cheaters that really works people up - offends their sense of justice - and when they try this weak crap, it just gets those same people even more worked up as it's so blatantly obvious he cheated.
I see the only real chance for him to get on with his life and leave this behind is to fess up, apologize and move on. Which is the smart choice. Alternatively he can move very far away and don't run in any events, but, seems like a lot of effort when you can just say sorry.

It's pretty telling that the one result that sticks out as unusually fast for Mike Rossi (other than the LVM) is a 10 mile race in which his pace is still 9 seconds per mile SLOWER than he claims he maintained for 26.2 miles in order to get that 3:11.
I think it's funny that this distance/pace list is already posted on the LVHN Facebook page. LMAO. How can they not be ashamed?
The LVHN Marathon RD made her choice because:
1) She doesn't care
2) She doesn't know
3) Rossi's attorney
(pick one, but probably more than one).
3.
Nobody likes a cheater and particularly not one that makes you look like an incompetent boob. She has to care.
I believe that she is 100% certain that he cheated. She has to know. You would have to be an idiot that knows nothing about running to not know that he cheated.
I honestly don't think she understands how strong the case is and that it is an easy win for the marathon if they do get sued (which they would not). The funny thing is that they don't want to say he cheated but look at how many people are saying it on their own Facebook page. They aren't hiding behind anonymity or worrying about getting sued (which they won't either). They aren't saying "might have" or "allegedly," or "in my opinion." They are just flat out calling him a cheater in a public forum and he isn't going to do $hit about it.
So, I think she is afraid of a toothless dog.

Technically, it was not the RD's decision. There was a Committee established and it was the Committee's decision, which is not to say that they didn't also bend over for his attorney the same way some here have.
