A word to the wise to everyone on this thread.
Tread lightly.
One telling thing to me is that there really haven't been that many responses on the race FB page either - less than 50.
No. I am neither Mike nor his attorney. Just giving some advice that it is time to move on.
As many have noted, several of the posters who were very vocal early on in the thread has been very quiet lately. I wonder if it is because they were easily identifiable - registered names, public facebook posts, etc. and have been contacted. Even the anonymous guy who keeps repeatedly promoting his blog every other page has toned it down considerably and removed some things from the blog about Mike.

Not so fast about movng on.
Not only have some posters gone quiet, some posters are being actively quieted, censored and even banned. I am not sure if this is the US or China. What I am sure of is that after the farce yesterday when someone innocuously quoted a popular movie and famous lines by the beloved and late John Belushi, the integrity and credibility of this site and more importantly, its owners, which now appears to oinclude, ahem, Mr. 3:11, has diminished greatly. In fact, they/this borad have/has very little, if any credibility now by censoring comments in such an arbitrary and capricious manner and after repeatedly crying wolf about an article that has yet to appear.
It is akin to Waiting for Godot.
While the owners of this site can't be held liable for defamatory comments made by participants on this site, they can be held liable for comments they make and for which could be deemed defamatory. In fact, abingtonrunner, if you are reading this, which I am sure you are, brojos' public comment about your post in question (only in his mind though as it appears the board's participants recognized the quote instantly and the ridiculousness of both Mr. Rossi's calling his attorney and brojos bending over for a harmless movie quote, which only strengthens my premise of defamation I make following this parenthetical comment/observation) and his far-fetched conclusion that it somehow crossed the threshold of an actual threat with intent to harm, could be considered defamatory. As such, I am happy to provide counsel to you to pursue all legal recourse. Other posts were deleted without making a public statement and knowingly making a false assumption. As jaw-droppingly stupid commented late yesterday afternoon , "banning that poster is a bit much, especially since he has generally been a solid poster on this thread". In fact, after a review of said posts, he was a very solid poster and never once got into the name calling or mudslinging common this board and stayed on point with facts in the public domain, which makes it hard for Mr. Rossi claim any defamation, especially since he is a quasi-public figure. In contrast, while some may view it as stretch, brojos comments could be construed as libelous and impuned abingtonrunner by his public comment regarding the silly quote of a comedic movie and by banning him/her.
