Think back 9 months to the marathon you ran. Do you remember a guy in black shorts and a black shirt?"
"Don't ever call me again, weirdo. Click."
You would surprised what people do remember, especially if the person was shoulder to shoulder for any considerable amount of time. Of course, with a doubter and hater such as yourself and one who is shilling for Rossi, I suspect your negativism is warranted. I for one am not an angry stalker. But keep up the defeatist attitude and bending over for Rossi, I am sure you two make a fine couple.
No dude, "What a Waste" is right.
Since we already know that MR did not run the course it is a given that nobody remembers seeing him. Where does that get you?
Ask 20 people - 19 of them hang up the phone thinking you are a nut. 1 of them says, "Yeah, I saw some stuff about how this guy cheated. Don't remember seeing him but then I'm not sure that I would have had any reason to notice or remember him."
OK, now where are we?
Mike, I hope you read this post and feel good about yourself singlehandedly taking "7-$10,000 a year out of a worthwhile charity's hands".
Has anyone dare to look at the half marathon photos?
Maybe there is a shot of him ducking out of the race?
Changed the heading from "RE: Boycott", didn't notice that when I linked to the post, I don't think the event should be boycotted because of one arsehole.

I think this ^ is it guys.
Case closed. Mystery solved.
And he would have gotten away with it, too, if it wasn't for those meddling kids (and their principal).
A friend of his told me he recorded the Everybody Loves Raymond Marathon on TV last weekend. He watched the first episode and then fast forwarded to the last episode and told everyone he watch the whole thing.
What is it with this guy and marathons?
Are you one of the LVM committee members? You certainly seem qualified. Who said no one remembers seeing him? That is not what the LVM statement said or implied. In addition, being a defeatist gets you no where. There is no harm in trying and moreover, I was just inquiring as to whether it was done or given any serious consideration. Also, one could email some of the people, which allows for a little more explanation. The committee did not contact 2,500 participants, but instead they said that no one reported seeing anything. That is a big difference.
As for where it gets me or anyone for trying it. Well, while it may not produce any results, and the likelihood is that it wouldn't, it falls under the category of being thorough, something the committee obviously failed to do. It is just one more thing that could be crossed off the list, or perhaps one or two people say, yeah, I remember him running right next to me in mile 17 or something like that. I can recall some people that ran besides me for periods of time either because of what they were wearing, or their stride or a number of factors.
Runners tend to be serious people and fairly detail oriented, which is what this whole exercise has been and will be about. So while there are a few of you who like to doubt and say things can't be done, there are the rest of us who are usually just doing it rather than bemoaning it.
From the LVM FB site:
Kenneth Stillman Just for the record he is now trying to bully me for voicing my opinion. I wish you all knew what a horrible human being he is. Even many of the DJ's he works with can't stand him.

Kenneth Stillman He replied to my post on the Philly Mag site and he's been trying to post negative things to my business Facebook page. I have been deleting them, of course.

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
And it ain't over now. Cause when the goin' gets tough... the tough get goin'! Who's with me? Let's go! What the f*** happened to the letsrun I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? Ooh, we're afraid to go with you, we might get in sued. Well just kiss my ass from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this. Rossi, he's a dead man! LVM and its race director and committee, dead!

Ummmmm, is this serious?
It's a quote from Animal House, tweaked to fit.
well things just got interesting again. Mike Rossi's attorney is being paid to scan the forums?
Nice gig.

What does law enforcement say about liking Facebook pictures of 9 years old girls? Strictly speaking, that is pedophilia.

This is correct. It's just a quote from the movie Animal House with changed names. Pretty clear it's a joke. Calling the police? This thread has gone way over the edge.
And - really? He did get a lawyer? And they care what people write on this forum? That's even more crazy

No, Mike Rossi is scanning the forums himself. And he notifies his lawyer whenever someone is too critical. Several people have been silenced already.

Can a DJ afford a lawyer?

I wonder if he's seen

Yeah that all sounds motivational but I'll believe in justice when I see it

Where is the damned article? Rojo, stop drinking cheap beer and chewing tobacco!
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
