It is a slippery slope though deleting threads, what if Rossi's family sent a similar message to the Brojos would they remove this thread also?
Was wondering the same thing. Sorry, whoever made the call to delete that thread, made the wrong one. Might as well delete this one as well. And no, this is not Mike. Both Rossi and Knoblock Moore cheated. Both posted comments about their desire to run Boston, Mike in 2015, Kara in 2016. Both bragged about their accomplishments on social media. The main difference is that the evidence against Moore is far more overwhelming than the evidence against Mike, yet this thread remains and hers is removed. Chalk one up for the squelching of free speech.
If the Knoblocl-Moore thread was removed due to concerns that she might, as a result of the outing, fall off the wagon and revert back to drinking, or because someone took pity based on her physical disability, well then congratulations, you got played. I know countless people with severe disabilities that would be offended to know someone else with a disability used their condition as an excuse to be treated differently, to seek sympathy.
It gets touched upon every now and then, but let's make one thing absolutely crystal clear, it's not the discovery and outing of a cheater on LetsRun or other social media websites that brings shame and scorn on the cheater, it's the cheater's own actions that does that. If, when initially confronted with the evidence, the cheater admits wrong doing, the case is closed and the matter quietly goes away. Not so when you compound the cheating with lies.
When faced with a mountain of overwhelming evidence that they cheated, the cheater invariably digs in their heels and maintains their innocence, thinking that by doing so the problem will go away. It never does as more often then not, additional evidence confirming the original determining was correct is found. The problem for the cheater now is that with their lies and denials, they have dug a hole so deep for themselves, that it is impossible for them to get out. Pride prevents them from doing the right thing.
Confessing that they lied when confronted with the evidence that they cheated is probably more difficult for these people than confessing they cheated in the first place. This is the now the problem both Kara and Mike now face.
