Criminal trespass - 18 Pa. Cons. Stat. § 3503
(b.1) Simple trespasser.--
(1) A person commits an offense if, knowing that he is

I'm no Rossi fan but this is nothing more than the equivalent of a traffic ticket.
For most traffic violations there is no need to appear in court unless you are going to contest the charge.
He is required to appear in court and depending on the facts and circumstances of his case, as outlined in the below link, it could be somewhat serious.
