Yesterday he had all of this screenshots on his FB page, they are gone today. Thankfully I screenshot them before he deleted.

I believe my favorite quote from one of his supporters is "Are the people looking into this even athletes at all?"
I've been writing to both Boston and NY asking whether they really think this cheat deserves to participate in their events. Hopefully the light bulbs will go off

Well he will have posted in here somewhere. His ego won't have been able to resist

That really grinds my gears.
Not to beat a dead horse, BUT Where is the LRC article on this ? Not one mention of this on the home page ? Seriously ? Most of the articles out there in the press are referencing this site - and it has no article of its own ? The BroJos promised us an article - are they working on some new angle or evidence or something ?
We need a LR article! And a brave gutsy one, deliberately calling him a cheater.
Rojo?!
When the horse is dead, it's time to dismount. Unless there is new evidence (or he discloses his GPS data), this is done until the RD rules on this.

I've been skimming this thread only now and then, so I apologize if this has been said, but a cached copy of his blog has race photos, including his 1:40 HM. He is finishing with his arms up, fists pumped. If, as he says, all of his other, pre-Lehigh Valley efforts were not really race efforts and thus are no indication of what he was capable of doing when he finally did race and event, why the display at the finish? And why would he post four photos (three at the finish) if it were just a "run"?

Well, the correct answer is that he was actually racing on all non-Via Marathon races.
I've never done a race as a training run, but I do know a few people who have. Most of the time, they did not go much slower than an all out effort anyway. It's very tough to reign it in when you are actually out there in a race. I've never heard of anyone doing an actual half marathon race and finishing slower than their marathon pace by 20 seconds per mile or so. Yet Mike can supposedly run 26.2 miles in 7:19/mile whereas in his best half marathon race ("training run"), he covered 13.1 miles in about 7:39 pace and celebrates at the end like he really did something out there.
Mike should probably just stop talking.
Has the preening hobby jogger been DQ'd yet?
As much as I agree with you, my wife has asked me several times after watching me race, "why didn't you just pass those people in front of you?"
For people that don't understand, you can just "want to" enough on a certain day and do something outstanding.
It's frustrating to no end, but it does not surprise me that people buy his claim that he wasn't giving it a full effort on any other race day, but on LVM day, he reached down deep for a great performance.
Not sure if this link was shared.
In the third to last paragraph, while not in quotes, it does say Magic Mike was invited to run Chicago this year. Have race organizers announced the rest of the elite field?
He might not run, though. "Do I dare bring my kids?!?" Pesky attendance policy.
Mike is the gift that keeps on giving.
Read it.
Can someone explain this quote in that article?
"This guy should win Dad of the Year"
If I took mine out of school to run a race or multiple races, I'd feel a bit guilty, selfish, and dumb.
How do you get to be Dad of the Year for running a marathon, doing a family vacation, and getting your family to miss school?
Let me know so I can tell my wife all these long runs and vacation marathons are to win Dad of the Year in 2016.

To jo did state a couple of days ago that he was going to be around the area in which Magic Mike lives and stated that he might try to get an interview with him.
That would be funny if he was able to get one with him.

It has to be eating Mike up inside knowing that we have an insider.
We should see if he has a dog and we can put a bug on it to really get inside.
Hey Mike, how are things going? I am assuming that you are probably really busy trying to fabricate fake GPS files.
The sad part about this all for me is that Mike isn't going to be enjoying the sport he loves so much for at least 12 weeks. No bumping into him anymore on any of his long training runs or those local races he used to like to "jog". Get well soon mike , we miss you out here.

When you're a narcissist you really do believe "The whole world's watching you champ, the whole world", so you feel an obligation to put on a "display", whatever the effort, because they believe that's what their adoring fans want and expect. Mike's no different, so give him a break.
Its freaking sad. People are calling him the father of the year because he wrote a pithy little letter to the HS Principal after she sent a form letter explaining that the kids absence was unexcused. People are all like "He's sticking it to the man!" and "What a hero to stand up to the principal !" I have been in complete awe of all the people (the majority of the comments I've seen on FB and RW even) sticking up for this narcissist. This guy represents a lot of what is wrong with this country, society and culture we live in today. Luckily, what social media giveth, social media taketh way. Wanna be a social media attention whore ? Be careful what you wish for.
His social media days are done.
