Viren had blood transfusions
Coe, likely blood transfusions and some steroids

I can't believe the thread is this old without someone else mentioning him, but Geb. My faith in the sport rests on a knife's edge, really.
If I KNEW Geb was a cheat, I could probably stop watching or caring about the top level completely.
Geb.
I actually don't want to know, regarding Geb. It would kill me too much if he were. I know that everyone else was during that era and so realistically that means Geb was too but.... I just would probably never believe anything about running again. I hold him in a higher regard than even Paula Radcliffe.
If I were to vote, I'd say Usain Bolt.

Come on now. You're not thinking about this correctly. It's like a fairy giving you only one wish. You only get to do one wish so as WEldon said earlier in his post, you don't want to waste it on someone who you pretty much know to be dirty (many of the posts so far I think to myself, "Why would I waste it on him. I KNOW they were dirty.")
But don't waste it on me and weldon. None of my PRs equate to even faster than 30:00 for 10,000 equivalent. Weldon, my genetical equal whom I used to beat all the time in 9th grade, ran 28:06.
Is there any reason to waste the test on Wejo? After 15 years of thought, I've had to conclude that the whole 'move to flagstaff' , let's 'start a website for the people to share my uplifting improvement story' had to be an elaborate smoke-screeen. Sadly, even I fell for it hook like and sinker.

The problem with you claim is, Lagat never failed a test. His sample was tampered with by an overzealous white male in charge of the sample.
Whoops.

So I would love to know Gebrselassie didn't dope. However, if he doped I was thinking I would rather not know, but that is BS. I want to know for everyone whether they doped or didn't. That is the only way to get a level playing field. Instead we want to believe the athletes we like are clean, but thinking the ones we don't are likely dirty. It's not fair to anyone.
Good point, and one of the reasons why the current system is not fair.
So lets say I ask this Oracle whether runner X dopes. Is it going to back up its answer with evidence? Cuz it would drive me nuts to not be able to prove it to anyone.
I've always wondered about Pete Sherry.

Well, if you've followed the sport closely -- and really closely watch how people "progress" and how they look during and after races -- there are those that were quite obviously dirty, despite never (been announced as) testing positive:
Koch
Kratochvilova
Lewis
Cierpinski
Cova
Antibo
Skah
Then there are those who are still obviously dirty, and have tested positive:
Gatlin (2x)
Then there are those that leave you wondering if they were/are dirty:
Viren
elG
Farah/Rupp
Ratcliffe & Farah on mens side
I think she is the only female runner to red line a marathon the whole way and the most talented runners like Dibaba have not concentrated on the marathon yet
Farah I reckon is juiced 13 second for 100m and 3:28 1500m no way. Get him out and run sub 12 then i might have some faith again. As for power work with Al Sal, he rode that bike in superstars like a 12 yr old girl
Hmm + Bolt
Just can't see him being clean and to hear people rattle on about how he runs faster because of this that and the other is just laughable. He seems to slow down and get injured the more he has been tested
MEB.
He's awesome. And I don't think he's ever been dirty - but I would appreciate the peace of mind. If it turns out he hits the dope... then I think that would be Lance-like for a lot of americans who recently jumped on the marathon hype train after his recent success.
The dope affecting his brain would also explain the Elipti-Go.
if Geb is juiced Bekele is juiced
no way one is clean and the other dirty
my money says they've both been on the sauce the whole time to varying degrees depending on the state of drug testing at any time
there is too much money at stake for athlete and agents to be clean at that level
This is an infinite list of just about everyone post 1970.
Who wouldn't want the real results for Coe, Slaney, Carl Lewis, Auotia, Cram, Komen, Geb, Tergat, Bekele, Dibaba, Defar, Ayana and the rest of the legends.
For most surprising clean result: Wang Junxia. That would be right up there with learning that Flo Jo wasn't doping AND the wind meter was accurate.

Juiced as could be. Zola Budd was given shots in her feet that made her bare soles grip the track like stick 'em. Nobody in that era was safe.

We already have the real results for Slaney. The case is closed.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
