Thanks fly. This is a complicatred issue--one can get training for one thing that is in major demand today--then by the time you get certification there is no more demad for such a worker and most who have certification are out of work. I am seeing plenty of that with the very certification I suggested I might do on the previous post---eck I lost my head there on that post now that I think about it. I am considering doing A+ and then get co-op training for repair. This would get me experince that I need to learn and influence potential emplorer. I can go that route--or I could just set myself for full board training and get an Associate degree--BA or whatever. But my main thing is that I do not want in a freaking cubicle. I do not fear doing such a thing--if there is no major pressure to it--such as boring database job. Yet--database might not be all that bad if I can find some demand in specific database--such as Oracle. There was such a demand for that around here last year. Now--nothing. Sure I could move where it is in demand--but I'd rather not go through every hassle imaginable, only to get laid off in one month. Very hard to decide on this--so much that I am thinking about going into something else. Such as Liscence Social Worker. I may be stuck in school for 4 freaking years--but the demand for such certification is great and the work is gravy. Sure the money is not the best--but I am very undemanding in that area. Give me that certification and $10 an hour and I'd never complain.
