Paula did not start with the elite women, she started with the masses. She is still out on the course right now.
Radcliffe is in the main race, the live tracker is predicting 2:36 finish
Live feed just ended with Paula still out on course...
Sorry guys. I had to take the dog out so I hit pause on my BBC elite broadcast and was about 10 minutes behind.
Kipchoge and Kipsang are amazing. So focused but it looked they were just out for a jog. Unreal.
I had kipchoged at 63 from 600 to 200 out. 137 last 600. not sure that's really that accurate as he didn't seem to slow down that much to celebrate to me.
The announcers on the BBC elite broadcast were very boring but I was afraid to switch to the regular BBC broadcast as i figured i'd see the winner before I could rewind it back to where I was when the dog had tod go tod the bathROOM.
Hey guys, got on the live feed late, but I just read that Bekele was supposed to race. Did he toe the line? Drop out?
Kipchoge and Kipsang interviewed on BBC. Wonderful camaraderie. Brilliant competitors.

He withdrew a few months ago.

4:20 pace at the end of a marathon isn't slow

How long have you been asleep? Or is it some kind of trolling?

Kipsang said he wouldn't mind being selected alongside Eliud for the World Champs.

I can't put it past them.

Kipchoge and Kipsang were both just on the BBC.
Kipchoage siad, "The race was good. I felt very ok. I was happy to run against the two world record holders."
He said, "It was tough. It was a championship (race) out there."
BBC presenter, Gabby Logan, then asked about him saying it was a championship race. Kipchoagae reiterated the point, saying, "This was (like) a real major championship. It was like an Olympic Games" noting how 2 guys were side by side with 500m to go.
Asked about his first London experience he said, "The crowd was wonderful. That is what lifted my spirits to compete at the finish line."
Kipsang was not disappointed at all with second place saying, "This was one of the best (performances). Today was a very strong field and I am really happy for my friend to have won today. For me (being) defending champion, having run a good time 2:04, second place, I think it was really good for me."
Kipsang said what all of us would agree with, "It was a really tough race and a fantastic one"
Logan asked Kipchoge and Kipsang if we would see them race at the World Championships. Kipsang noted what we all know, "In Kenya we are in the hands of the federation. If the federation will select us we will honor the selection."
Kipsang said, "We would really love to compete at the World Championship again (versus one another)."
2:36:55 for radcliffe
Kipchoge has now defeated the world record holders of the 1500m, 5,000m, 10,000m and marathon. Does anyone know if he's gone up against Tadese at some point?

2:36:55 for Paula.
It was pretty emotional with her coming.
Afterwards she told the BBC, "The last mile...I just wanted to thank as many people as possible when coming in and try and find someone to come in hand and hand with because the time didn't matter today, but you can't come to the London Marathon and not give it an honest effort. I went out way too fast, but everytime I tried to slow down, someone shouted...Then it got more and more emotional."
She said she was even thinking during the race, "Brendan and Crammy will be in their commentary box saying 'well as usual Paula has gone out way too fast.'"
BBC presented Gabby Logan tried to see if Paula might compete like this again, but Paula said she realized when training in Kenya her body can't handle the training anymore.
Really enjoyed Lornah Kiplagat's tweets especially when it was down to two and she billed it "Iten vs Kaptagat". That's how I knew who she was rooting for.
