KIPCHOGE!
KIPCHOGE!
I think unless Kipsang really tries to break Kipchoge in this last mile, Kipchoge will simply sprint away. In my opinion with how easy Kipchoge looks, it seems like he would be able to really sprint if it comes down to it.
Kipchoge away
Kipchoge opening up a gap! 600 to go!
Kipchoge is trying to break away...
Kipchoge......huge break. smooth
Kipchoge! It's over!
Boy, did I enjoy that. Great race.
Kipchoge wins it, Kipsang 2nd, Kimetto 3rd. Terrific marathon. It's hard for a major marathon to live up to the hype, but this one delivered.
2:04:42 for Kipchoge (13 secs off course record). 2:04:48 for Kipsang, I believe. Kimetto was in 2:05:50s.
Tremendous race. Kipchoge is the boss. I loved how he was pointing at the crowd down the finish straight.
Kimetto finished in 3rd with a slight limp. Biwott 4th, Regassa 5th.
Anyone else think that Kipchoge is the new Geb (regarding post race smiling)?
Great race!
Beyond thrilled for Kipchoge. One of the nicest guys in the sport.
As Nick Zaccardi just pointed out on Twitter, Kipchoge beat two of the best ever on the track to win the 5000 at Worlds in '03 (El Guerrouj and Bekele). 12 years later, he beat two of the best ever in the marathon to win London.
Until he broke away for good, I was thinking we might see a repeat of the Great North Run 2012 with Kipsang taking it back at the last.

KIpchoge does not respect authority.
Insubordinate boy.

Kipchoge has thrown away his hat, the men's race is on.
I knew it would be a good one when the hats vanished. No more fooling around.
