Yes its early in the season but still would not expect a Kenyan.

US born, which means a superior diet high in protein compared to his SKINNY/SCRAWNY Kenyan counterparts on a high carb diet. That's also why he is way more BUFF despite the same genetics.

Glad you can always bring such depth to a conversation.
At this point, you can just stop posting because everyone will be like "And right here crossfit guy would say exactly "blah blah blah weights, protein blah blah blah"
He 'Murican but qualifies for Kenya through his parents.

Thats bogus. Nkanata is actually less buff than his fellow Kenyan sprinters who were born and live in Kenya. Look at the picture below
http://kenyapage.net/athletics/images/m4X200m.jpgDiet is not the issue. The issue is the fact that there is a distinct lack of opportunity, incentive, facility, coaching etc. For example, there are no college scholarships on offer to motivate athletes
English is my third language so I have to ask what "BUFF" means.
Thanks.

I am sorry, but there is no word for "BUFF" in Kenyan language.
I can post a few pics of really BUFF athletes later on stage so you get an idea...?

Which is .....
Buffalo Bill?
Its amazing what happens when the sport gets cleaned up a little.
From the Urban dictionary:
BUFF originally refers to the B-52 Stratofortress long-range strategic bomber. The enormous aircraft was extensively used for carpet bombing missions in Vietnam and as a first-strike or retaliatory strike nuclear weapon delivery vehicle during the cold war. The crews rarely referred to the aircraft with its real name, instead they used the acronym BUFF, for Big Ugly Fat F--ker.
Pretty apt description of the average crossfitter, except they're all little guys with Napoleon complex.
As for athletes, Yoshihide Kiryu is 5'9"/150. He looks like a distance runner next to US Sprinters. But he just ran 9.87w.
http://www.japantimes.co.jp/sports/2015/04/06/more-sports/track-field/kiryu-focused-improving/#.VTauVPnF83INot new but a Kenyan ran a 10.1X a few years ago. If the sport were close to clean that time could get you somewhere if you ran that at a major.

You would not expect an Australian to lead in the 1500 either, but there it is, Gregson leads with a 3:36...
http://www.iaaf.org/records/toplists/middlelong/1500-metres/outdoor/men/senior/2015where are all these Kenyans coming from?

Why not? Rudisha can run a 44/45. His father was a great sprinter as well. I think the Kenyans used to be highly ranked in the sprints back in the day.
Something happened and they instead got really good at distance events.

America apparently. But let's not start that again.

Contrary to East Africa/West Africa stereotypes, I do think there is a lot of talent for sprinting (and other sports) in Kenya, and besides, many tribes do trace their roots to West Africa. I guess they already have a javelin thrower and a linebacker with exceptional speed for his size.

Xfit guy will post the pictures when he's done jerking it to the buff men.
