If you saw how they sprinted down Boylston and hardly broke a sweat:
HUGE RED FLAG
We will see in a couple of years when she has been caught what that victory was worth.
I am glad Desi brought it home. Pretty good chance those first three ladies will eventually test positive and then she can say "I would have..."
Rot inch trains in the us (dc area) and is coached by Isaiah...so all you tri freaks can calm down.

IMagine if in the NBA or the Olympics, everyone wore the same uniform.
Desisa on the men's side is tough. He was just laying low for a while. He's not nearly as smooth as some other guys but boy is he a beast.
Wesley Korir is impressing me.
You must be new to the sport.

You weren't bitching about Saucony on Saturday now, were you?

People like Sage because he is willing to take risks and mix it up trying to do different races and push himself even though he knows he is not the best at some types of racing.
As for Malcom Richards, I don't know anything about him, except that he finished over 3 minutes behind Canaday today.[/quote]
Malcom Richards is the pride of St. Olaf circa 2004.
and of West Valley Track Club. A great guy and always under the radar.
Missed the race telecast this year, but just read through the entire 37 page discussion thread. Classic--almost better than being frustrated by actually trying to watch it, with lousy coverage and terrible commentators. Thanks to Let's Run and those who contributed.
The comments on Larry Rawson were hilarious. Its almost as if I was there, learning from the man himself. I'm looking forward to the NCAA telecast. I've always wondered about the origins of the steeplechase, and I think Mr. Rawson might be able to tell me a thing or two about it.

You jumped the gun, he was saving it, 25'33" between 35 and 40k !
For the record the new LRC darling Derek Yorek finished in 03:04:57, well done man!

Never has a truer statement been made.
"Ain't" and "no" are negatives which makes a positive. So it's like sayin....
" Meb got quit in him ".
Now never has a truer statement been made.

Wasn't the winner Desisa wearing now 4 year-old Nike Zoom Streak 3 shoes?

Did you get roughed up a lot on the playground?
Stopped reading the thread when I got behind because I was texting a buddy who was on the course.
Was it noticed and did anyone have a clue as to what Tsegay ingested later in the race. Were any ideas suggested?

A Duck is the #1 LRC addicted. If LRC closed down he-she-it would wither away; nothing left to do with their miserable life.
