I believe the fastest white female is Marlene Gohr from Germany back in the day. She ran like 10.81 or so. There was an Asian woman at 10.79. No white Americans under 11.00 until now.

I always said pound for pound the white female is a better athlete than the white male and people scoff at me.Look at any World or Oly champs,the

white females always are competitive and win their share of medals.The

white men have trouble even making finals.Why this is ? My theory is that

the white female is more sociable than the white male,is more comfortable

in diverse environments,feels relaxed which is very important in athletic

performance.The white females do not have the insecurities and hangups

that plague white males.

If you were watching the meet, you would have seen that she false started in the 100 and came in 3rd in the 200. I think someone pulled some strings to get her in the 200 since she wasn't entered in that event originally. It's sad when you have to drive that far to false start.
